As has been stated by others, if you signup for the trial, be sure to cancel since they will charge you the annual fee despite your cancellation. Plus they provide very little of value that you cant find on Expedia or Booking. I was just informed that they would give me a refund. Thank you for doing the right thing.

Hi Alan, We're sorry for the negative experience. Glad to hear you got this resolved with our team. -The DFC Team

Terrible policy and customer service. Don't recall ever signing up, never made an account. Assume it’s due to tricky marketing and enrollment to get you to agree to a “$1 membership for a year” then zero reminders or deals for the year, then a $99 subscription renewal charge, when this is not mentioned anywhere in the initial trial offer marketing verbiage (assuming its hidden elsewhere). Refuse to refund.

This company has no customer service and only wants your dollars with no concern for the customer. I signed up for a 1 dollar 6 month trial. I found no useful deals. I was travelling when the 6 month trial was over and missed cancelling. As soon as the credit card charge went through, I emailed CS and said I had no use for a membership and wanted the just run charges refunded. They said there is no chance of a refund but that I could have 90-100% off a second year. No warning that the charges were coming and no questions about being satisfied or what it would take to be satisfied. Then they admitted that there charging/re-upping system may not be ideal and asked for suggestions. Are you kidding me? Greed and no service.

Hi Jory, Thank you for explaining your situation and I apologize for the negative interaction. We do send renewal notices before a charge occurs to give people plenty of time to avoid being charged. We appreciate all feedback from customers to do anything we can to improve the service. Again we apologize and hope we can service you better in the future. -The DFC Team

They tell you to pay 1 dollar for a "trial period". Then dont remind you before they take 100+ dollars from you. When I asked for a refund, literally two minutes after the money had been drawn, i got the answer that "my subscription had already started" and that "therefore we cant offer a refund". I want my money back still. But Ive given upp because thats how this businessmodel works. Its a trick. A no-good trick.

Hi Elias, We're very sorry for the frustrating experience. I'd like to clarify that we would not bill you three days after starting your trial. The trial period is a minimum of 14 days. Sometimes longer. We do have a no refund policy, but we do try to make it as clear and obvious as possible upon sign up when your renewal date is, what the amount it will renew for, etc. Again, we apologize for the experience and we hope we can service you better in the future. -The DFC Team

[Update: How dare you lie in your response. I was not warned before being charged. A good company with a good product warns before trial renews to full membership. You do not. Predatorial business plan. Give me my money back.] Business plan appears to be, don't warn people before renewal charges and never ever refund. Shameless predatorial behaviour that a developed nation should prevent.

My complaint is about them sneakily charging you membership fees after the membership was cancelled right away during the free test period. Do not try them even for free or $1. The membership fee in 2025 is $69.

We do make all renewal information available in your account dashboard as well as send renewal notifications in advance.
