Amazing
The staff at hatashita.com were great in getting us set up. The mats were super stiff for the first 2 weeks but have settled and really softened up a lot. They were also very slippery at the beginning but after a few washes and classes they have really "broken in" so to speak. No blemishes, no damaged mats. Top notch product!

Fantastic Cheer and Wrestling mats
Originally purchased cheer mats for my ex's daughter to use, and the mats were never used. So I confiscated them and taught the neighborhood boys martial arts on them. They are the perfect mats for falling and using with everyday shoes. Cleaning is great - just a vacuum and all done. After the break up, I took them to my friends house where I study, and fitted the entire area with the personal blue, and black mats. Wrestling mats, nothing better. I coach at a boys and girls club and we have 1.5 of the full size. Easy setup and still soft after maybe over 10 to 15 years? (My 3rd year volunteering) Wrestling and MMA mats would have torn under the shoe stress for the martial arts, and yet, the kids wear regular shoes and have held up after all the years. Something that is very key. Cleaning. There is something different. The tape gunk is almost non existent. I also bought home wrestling mats from another company for a little less (also coached the ex's son in wrestling for a year). The tape gunk smears embedded in the mats, do not clean as easily, fit as well together taped, and are highly susceptible to tears. The straps are cheap too. Do yourself a favor, spend that extra 50/100/200, it doesn't matter. The cheaper quick fix will become a headache after one use. Literally after one use.
