Order took weeks to arrive, got lost, now they're threatening collections
Order took weeks to arrive - then was lost for an additional two weeks due to a snow and ice storm. They threatened to send me to collections because my credit card refunded me - or expected me to send back to GERMANY(!!) - at which point I might as well just keep them. They fit okay but the quality is poor - they almost look like bathing suit material. UPDATED: Marie’s exact response: Option A — Pay the outstanding balance of $63.93 USD via the invoice already sent. Option B — Return the items at your own cost to: Storebox, Hospitalstraße 5, 02826 Görlitz, Germany So their claim that US returns to Germany are not required is untrue. I asked twice for a US option and was provided this same canned response. I ended up eating the cost to keep them because I was not about to pay the same amount to ship them back internationally. I stand by, buyer beware.

The shipping delay occurred due to severe snow and ice weather conditions, which were unfortunately outside of our control. While we always dispatch orders as quickly as possible, carrier disruptions caused by extreme weather cannot be influenced by us. Regarding the refund: a chargeback was initiated through your credit card provider, and the amount was refunded accordingly. This means the order was delivered and the payment was returned. We would also like to clarify that returns are processed within the United States, as stated in our current return policy. A return to Germany is not required.
