Our experience with Dogwise was great. From start to finish the communication was excellent and Rina was wonderful to work with. Our German Shorthair Pointer learned a lot during his 3 week board and train.

Super reliable and knowledgeable!! Everyone has been super kind and kept me posted on my dog’s progress the entire time. Kristopher, who trained my dog, was amazing! Super friendly and answered all my questions and concerns. He also sent updates and plenty of videos and pictures to show me her progress. Everyone gives plenty of reassurance during the entire process from the beginning.

We had Lauren for my dogs trainer for 3 weeks. We discussed with her 4 issues that we were having problems with. Lucy is an American Bulldog about 75 pounds and 5 years of age (basically not trained). Some how all 4 issues were corrected when she came home. I didn’t expect a miracle but a miracle happened. Lucy is such a great well trained loving dog I can say for the first time. Today is about 3 weeks since she came back. I’ve already had friends come over and her around other people and dogs for the first time!!! At times my children think their dog is sick because she behaves like she should. They still can’t believe it’s the same dog! I don’t know what else to say except “thank you” for giving me a second chance and fresh start with my dog. I wouldn’t be able to keep her if it wasn’t for Lauren and dog wise!!!

If I could give it negative stars I would. I would not recommend dogwise to anyone. I am very disappointmented with the company and the way they have handled training and customer service overall. Especially with the amount of money I paid for training, it has not been worth the hassle and stress it caused us from being away from our puppy. To start off this training journey, our puppy was picked up late when we specifically asked for early morning time. The trainer arrives about 1.5 hours later for pickup. When we signed up, they informed us that a whatsapp group chat will be created so we are provided daily updates with pictures and videos. We received pictures twice the entire four weeks he was away and 1 video. He was picked up on a friday afternoon, we reached out to them on sunday to get an update which at that time they just said he was decompressing for a day and a half. The first picture we received was the 2nd week he was away, and again we had to ask for updates and pictures. The next picture and video we received was the third week. Again, we are promised daily updates and we would not hear from them for a few days and every couple of days we would have to reach out to get updates and request pictures/videos. We received 1 weekly report the entire four weeks he was away, which was the first week. During the 2nd week we were told the trainer was sick the first week so they wanted to keep him the 4th week. So I am not sure how accurate the report was since there was barely any training completed that week with the trainer being sick. The entire four weeks, there was lack of communication from the dogwise trainer and it was always us reaching out to them to see how our puppy was doing. There was always an excuse as to why we were not receiving pictures or videos. They stated the storage on the trainer's phone was full so he could not send videos, and everytime they promised a video or picture, it was not sent. The day before he was supposed to be dropped off, which was supposed to be friday afternoon, they asked if they could keep him until monday because of all the rain we recently had in the area, they wanted a few more days with our puppy to meet goals. After going back and forth with them for a while on drop off date and time, we were so frustrated we just went and picked him up ourselves. When we asked to pick him up, the trainer provided us his neighbors address which was very shady to me. When we picked up our puppy, he was filthy dirty. He smelled so bad, we could barely breathe driving home. The trainer told us we would set up a handover session during the week, and we did not hear from him to schedule a date. After a week of our puppy being home, I finally advised them that I was unhappy and did not even want a handover session and I am requesting a refund. When I requested a refund, they finally scheduled a handover session date. I informed them that I would like an additional trainer to come out during the handover session so they can see for themselves what I have noticed from my puppy being home for a week already. Without hesitation or even looking into the matter, they informed me that the additional trainer would not be able to come out. The morning of the handover session, I got a call from Sean the owner who informed me that he was not comfortable with the situation and did not want to do a handover session with the trainer who "trained" our puppy, he would like to send someone else to evaluate our dog. The trainer didn't have to do much to evaluate our puppy because she noticed right off the bat that he was not trained and does not have the basics from a puppy that would have been trained. Again, with the amount of money I paid I expect my puppy to come back trained and be given better customer service. Our puppy is our child and family member as most pet owners would agree and not receiving updates and knowing what is going on is not a good feeling for four weeks. Now, not only do I have to spend more money to send him to training again, we will have to be away from our puppy for additional weeks to make sure he receives the proper training.

My train was Theresa Strickland and I have only kind things to say about her! She was amazing with my miniature poodle. My puppy caused a bit of trouble when she first went but Theresa was kind and patient. She even took her to the vet when she got a little sick. Ever since my puppy came back she’s been so much calmer and more well behaved. And she remembers all the training she was given! Overall I’m super happy with my trainer and I would highly recommend her to anyone.

I was more than amazed and pleased with with my experience. My 2 Shiba Inu’s were challenging. They had fear and confidence issues. They pulled when walking and overall just very jumpy. Lauren Shelly was an amazing trainer! I can’t say enough about how over and beyond she went for my dogs. Constantly in contact with me through videos and messages about how they were doing. Always giving feedback back. Even after bringing them back she remains in contact to see how they are doing and giving advice. My dogs came back totally changed in a great way! I couldn’t be happier with the results. I would highly recommend this service for anyone really wanting a great training experience. If you can get Lauren Shelly depending on location I would say do it. It’s totally worth it.

Jackson and his team are absolutely Remarkable!! They took my unruly 19 month old, male Doberman and returned a well behaved, well mannered love bug. What I tirelessly tried to do this team accomplished in just weeks!! I received a tremendous amount of communication from videos and pictures to weekly reports that enabled me to track Drago’s impressive progress. Further more on the day of turnover he was in bright spirits and very happy. He shared a loving relationship with his trainers. In addition, the team took a great deal of time to teach me the techniques, valuable tools, needed for Drago’s continued success, which indeed have worked from day one. I travel for work and they instilled the confidence I lacked in traveling with Drago, I can now take him everywhere. I took him to my hour long appointment the day after he came home and my practitioner fell in love. I recently took him to a beach volleyball tournament and WOW, this pup heeled, sat, lied down, didn’t flinch at the company of people or passing dogs no matter their behavior! He followed every command effortlessly. The treatment from this team has been brilliant, they nurtured us every step of the way. I absolutely will be sending him back for advanced training in another one of their specialties. Thank you Jackson and Team for enhancing Drago and I relationship beyond measure, I am ever grateful. ~Blissfully ecstatic customer

Communication between the trainer, Ryan, and myself was amazing. My pup came home better behaved and ready to continue learning. Video updates, photos, everything was great. I was nervous about a board and train program but I'm so pleased with the outcome. I highly recommend Ryan, and Dogwise.
