Out of the box it looked very impressive. I was a little skeptical when I saw the design is more of a "film" wrapped over the metal tag. In about a month the design on one side is chipping off around the edges. The side with the information has started rubbing off because this too is film or sticker and is not engraved. From normal daily wear, the rabies & dog license tags have rubbed off 1 full line of information from the tag. Not impressed and not happy that i have to find another tag that won't wear down so quickly.

I was concerned that the tag itself would be thin cheaper metal but it is awesome! Durable. Solid. Well-made. And because I run a rescue and I want to stress the importance of having ID on your newly adopted dog's collar, it gives me another opportunity to draw the adopter's attention to the tag by showing them the funny, colorful image on the front. I always say "Now, don't lose it! It's precious!" (they think I mean the tag; I mean the dog!).
