I wish the excel conversion was a bit more streamlined. It converted my file into too many tabs and separated categories so I still had to do a lot of manual cleaning.

Thank you for your feedback! We understand how important a smooth conversion process is and appreciate you sharing your experience. We’ll pass this along to our team as we continue working to improve the Excel conversion feature.

Did not like the navigation and at the end, a lot of unnecessary language
Response from DocumentgeniusApr 15, 2026
Thank you for the honest feedback. We're sorry the navigation felt off and that the final document included more 'fluff' than you wanted. We’re constantly working to streamline our language and layout, and we’ll take your comments to heart for our next update.

The lease agreement was easy to access but if you needed to change a date, it would not allow.
Response from DocumentgeniusApr 15, 2026
Thank you for the feedback! We’re glad the access was easy, but we apologize for the trouble with editing the date. Typically, you can go back to the 'Form View' to update those details. We'll look into how we can make that editing process clearer for everyone!

It doesn't save everything you put into the document.
Response from DocumentgeniusMar 20, 2026
Thank you for your feedback, and we’re sorry to hear about your experience. If your information isn’t saving properly, it may be due to a session timeout or an issue with the browser. We recommend saving your progress periodically and ensuring you’re using an updated browser. If the issue persists, please reach out to our support team so we can take a closer look and assist you further.

I like how I could just answer questions and the document was written for me, but I don’t like how I couldn’t alter the document at all after the fact. For example: the document ended up being 3 pages simply because one of the signature lines didn’t fit, I was hoping to make it so the document was two pages or move all the signatures to the third page.
Response from DocumentgeniusMar 20, 2026
Thank you for your feedback! We're glad to hear you found the guided questionnaire helpful in creating your document. We understand your concern regarding post-download editing and formatting. Depending on the file format selected, some documents may have limited flexibility once generated. We recommend downloading the document in an editable format (such as Word) so you can adjust layout elements like signature placement and page length as needed. We appreciate your input and will continue working to improve flexibility for our users.
