Paid, Consult Never Happened- Refund Needed
Editing to give credit for good customer service on the technical side. I received a response to my refund request within an hour (it takes up to 5 days to process of course), but I never actually got to meet with a doctor, so my need wasn't met and now I'm probably stuck going to a hospital later tonight since urgent cares will be closed.
I answered the AI bot questions. It suggested a consult which is what I wanted. I paid, I went into the waiting room and waited so long my phone timed out which put me back at the end of the line. This happened three times and finally the link to join the meeting stopped working. So I paid and was never seen. I need a refund.

Thank you for updating your review to acknowledge our customer service response. We sincerely apologize that the consultation never happened. Phone timeouts that put you back in the queue are a technical issue we're addressing. Your refund has been processed, and we're sorry we weren't able to meet your needs when it mattered, Jenn.

Dropped the ball initially, then earned some trust back.
Crazy review incoming.
Started at one star. I visited doctronic in lieu of my regular physician. They phoned in a script... incorrectly. Pharmacy said it couldn't be filled legally as it was lacking dosing directions and needed fixing, and that they had been unable to reach the prescriber at the phone number they'd received.
So I told the pharmacy I'd follow up. I went back to the app to find... that there is no way to reach out to the prescribing doc. Or even to see who it was. The entire app is very simple and has no visible record or accessibility for past visits, just the AI chats. And the AI bot just hangs up on you if you try to talk about a mistake in the prescription ("This is off topic. I'm terminating this conversation." Like, wow.)
If you dig REALLY hard (it's not easy to find), there are some places on the site where there are footers where you'll find addresses like help-at-doctronic.ai and support-at-doctronic.ai, as well as a web form. The thing is, they all say they "try" to reply within 5-7 business days (like, wow) and it's not even clear whether these mailboxes can help with something like an incorrect prescription from one of their docs.
So I came here initially to leave a one-star review and to say that if there is a human error somewhere in the chain, you have no recourse (until at least 5-7 business days later) and it's not clear whether insurance will cover a second visit if the visit to this place fails due to error and so on and furthermore to say that this is all seemingly half-baked and needs more time to cook.
BUT... as I was typing my first review, the pharmacy got back to me by phone and said they'd managed to reach the doc on the third attempt and get the right prescription directions. So it took a couple hours, but they were able to follow up and get it fixed. So I was going to add back a star (2/5 stars) and say that they need to do a better job of customer service even if it all works in the end.
But then as I was typing that out, I got a phone call (!) back from Doctronic.ai to see if all was well and make sure the prescription was fixed. So their reply time was on the order of 15 minutes from the time I send off my message to support-at, NOT the 5-7 business days they'd promised. And they WERE able to see the prescription information from wherever they were calling me from.
So I've added back another star.
What would make it a four-star service? If they update their website to make it easier to find the email address, and make clear that they're actually going to get back to you quickly. I was in the process of making another appointment with my regular doc on the presumption that Doctronic.ai was going to not get back to me for 5-7 business days. Why are they selling themselves short? Not sure, but if I had a call center that gave me a 15-minute callback time with the computer resources needed to resolve issues, I would be a little more vocal to reassure customers and enable them to reach out, rather than forcing them to dig around for the mailbox and then suggesting that it'll be over a week turnaround.
What would make it a five-star service? If they found a way to eliminate prescription mistakes in the first place.
So it's hard for me to review this right now. The initial experience was frustrating, followed by super infuriating when it looked like I needed to give up and set up an appointment with my regular doc, followed by sort of impressed when they called me back only 15 minutes after I finally found their email address and emailed them.
On balance, three stars, but the ironic thing is that it's all eminently fixable. Like, they're an AI company. They could easily wire up the AI to review prescriptions and tell the physicians "Hey, that's incomplete, please rewrite before we send it off." And they apparently have great customer service already, so... why hide it deep, deep, deep in the guts of the website, be really unclear in describing what it can do, and then label it "5-7 business days" to respond?
Why not just put it in your user area: "If you have problems, contact us at support-at-doctronic.ai, our reps are able to help with things like prescription mistakes and other simple issues, and will respond same day in most cases."
Seems like they have the potential to be five-star, but they have some more work to do (mostly, it looks like, on the user experience and ease of use side of things) before they're really solid.
I hope they make it work in the end, because if the mistake hadn't happened in my case, it would have been a super convenient, super affordable solution and I'd love to see that become a common thing.

Hi Aaron! Thanks for sharing such a thoughtful and detailed review. We truly value honesty, and we’re grateful you gave us the chance to earn back some of your trust.
You’re absolutely right, your initial experience fell short. A prescription missing dosing instructions and an app interface that made it difficult to locate past visits or provider details is not the level of care we aim to deliver. We take full ownership of that, and we’re really relieved to hear the issue was ultimately resolved with your pharmacy.
We’re also glad our patient advocates were able to reach you quickly once you connected with us. That said, you made an important point: help shouldn’t feel hidden or set the wrong expectation. We’re actively improving our user experience, so support is easier to find, past visits are clearer, and prescription accuracy is stronger.
Your suggestion to use AI to flag incomplete prescriptions before they’re sent out is exactly the kind of feedback that helps us build better. We’ve already passed this along to our product and clinical teams for immediate consideration.
Thank you again for sticking with us through the frustration and for seeing the potential in what we’re building, Aaron. Feedback like yours pushes us to improve faster, and we appreciate you being part of that process.
We’re committed to doing better, and again, we’re grateful to have users who care enough to tell us the truth. 😊

Update on review
I paid 39.99 for a telehealth visit with a doctor and never received the video link. We'll see if I get issued a refund, but they only have an email for support, not even a number to call.
I am coming back to edit this review. They did end up sending me the link for the appointment, but it was 4 hours later. I missed it because I was asleep. They did quickly respond by email and refunded my money, so I'm editing my review. They at least fixed it.
