DNA Testing SLOW & Bad Communication caused Delayed results
I am adopting a baby who may end up in a custody battle. He has health issues and I need to complete the testing to complete the adoption in order to get the birth certificate and receive any medical assistance. I explained this to the representative who assured me that they are very fast and have results in 2 days. When I went to the referred center to take the test I offered the Order of Placement that shows I am the guardian. It was declined and I was told it was not requested. The company called me and due to a filled voicemail I was not reached and was never sent results. I was not contacted by mail or email and yet the company had all of my information. This is the second week and I called to find out what is going on and that is how I was told they needed more information. They want the Order of Placement I originally offered at the time of testing. This company is hard to work with. Everyone wants to pass the buck and not take any responsibility. They made no effort to reach me a second time. The delayed results are extremely frustrating in my situation.

Rita, We would like the opportunity to talk with you directly, as we can not find a Case that matches your comments. We do ask our collectors to send a copy of all paperwork, and when we don’t have all the necessary documents, we do have to follow up on the phone to gather the paperwork before we can deliver the results. Our protocol is to call three (3) times, and if we cannot make contact, we flag the Case until the client calls. In all likelihood, your results were on time, but needed this document to finalize the issuance of the report. If your report was delayed, we apologize for not collecting the Order of Placement during the DNA collection. We’ll discuss this with our teams and ensure we notify the collectors. Please do contact me to discuss further. Chris O. [email protected]
