DIVERSYFUND is total scam! Initial investment stated 5 years to mature. 7 years out & they still will not return my investment. Poor communication & will not respond to emails. Stay away from DIVERSYFUND if you value your money!

Garbage investment platform
Garbage investment platform. Communication stopped after a couple years of investment. Never saw my $500 principal returned and all dividends were automatically reinvested, save for maybe $20 I received once years ago. Total scam as far as I can tell.

Update to previous similar rating
Update to previous similar rating. I've had money in their fund now for a couple years. I cut it off 2 years ago after realizing there was no gain and no increase. Since then they will not commit to any gain or payout time or anything other than it's a long term investment and we don't know when it will pay out. I'm being told i have a long ride without knowing a thing about whether it is worth it. I think the "we hold your money you have to trust us to give you more back then you invested" strategy here is something I missed in the fine print. This is ripe for disappointment but according to DIVERSITY FUND i'll not know for years.

Do not invest with anything Craig Cecilio is involved in. This one I put 2k in 6 years ago, it earned $130 and they say you can pull your money in 2027...B.S. I would bet I never see it and this is a scam.

SCAM
SCAM, SCAM, SCAM!!!
I invested six years ago and have not received any of my initial investment back. The company does not provide a phone number for customer support; all communication must be conducted through email. They also close support cases very quickly, even though my request for the return of my investment has not been resolved or completed.

I invested $500 in an REIT account with DiversyFund five years ago this month. At that time, they stated that at the end of five years, you could either reinvest the money or have your $500 returned.

After I attempted to contact them and request my refund as promised, on numerous occasions through their website, which is VERY unresponsive, they sent me some copy and paste response that said the following:

Hi Mark,
We understand how frustrating it is to feel unheard, especially after the promised timeline has passed without clear communication.
These investments are structured as long-term, illiquid real estate investments. Investor capital is deployed into acquiring, improving, and operating a portfolio of multifamily properties, and is not held in cash or readily available for withdrawal.
As a result, investors should not expect to be able to withdraw funds on demand or close their account prior to the completion of a fund’s investment lifecycle.
Returns of capital are generally expected to occur as properties are sold during the final winding-up stage of the fund, at which point sales proceeds are distributed to investors as dividends.
Estimated Fund Lifecycle and Distribution Timing:
Fund I
Dissolution Date: December 31, 2025
Winding-Up Period: Currently in progress (2026–2027)
Expected Asset Sales Timing: Substantial completion expected by the end of 2027.
Best regards,
Support Team
I do not accept this answer and want my initial $500 investment refunded, as promised, as the five years are up and my status is fulfilled. Please contact me ASAP to resolve this complaint. This kind of duplicity cannot be allowed to stand.
Thank you!
