Discovery Voyages did a great job managing our trip. Our timing was unfortunate given Covid-19 but they provided the chance to reschedule or take a refund. Much appreciated!

Discovery Voyages has been great to communicate with us right from the first indication that things weren't operating normally due to the global pandemic. I feel they were proactive given that no one knew what to expect. They did work with us to reschedule our trip which I feel was fair. Given the fact that they incurred expenses regardless of whether or not they could take cruises, I am hopeful that we will get to make our trip next year since they did not offer to refund our deposit. We are very much looking forward to cruising with them in 2021 and I foresee giving them excellent reviews!

Excellent customer service! The next time we are able to reschedule our visit to Alaska, we will be reaching out to Discovery Voyages first. Our greatest regret is not being able to go on this trip, as we had originally planned. But we hope to return in the next couple of years. I would highly recommend Discover Voyages from a customer service perspective, and I fully expect, because of this experience, that the actual voyage we take later will be excellent, as well. Mark

Right from the outset we found Discovery Voyages courteous, responsive and helpful. They were also very informative for any questions we may have had about our up and coming trip. Coming from Australia, we had many questions. After the announcement of COVID-19 and the travel restrictions imposed on everyone, we made contact with Discovery Voyages and they came back with as much information as they had at hand. They offered that the balance would not need to be paid until such time as they knew that all was well and that the voyage would go ahead. As time shows the Pandemic continued on its path and we had to make the decision to cancel our trip with Discovery Voyages. Megan was straight back with a reply and assured us that they would be making a full refund. We are still disappointed that we were not able to make the trip to Alaska, but when we can, we will definitely be booking with Discovery Voyages. They have been a delight to deal with and I believe them to be a business operating with integrity.

Discovery voyages provided a full refund for cancellation. Upon deciding to travel in 2021 (after first cancelling) I was offered the same trip at 2020 prices. They have been totally responsive to all questions. I look forward to traveling with them in 2021.

We had to cancel our Discovery Voyage about 3 weeks before departure when the COVID -19 testing procedures required by the State of Alaska changed and did not allow us to comply. The response by Discovery Voyages was to immediately allow us a full refund or ability to book again for next year. They gave us advice about their view of Anchorage pandemic precautions and local testing, details of their attempts to make the voyage safe and comfortable for our group. They really could not have done any more to help us make the decision and re-arrange our vacation. We decided to book again for next year partly due to the superb customer service in the face of a crisis.
