Fantastic
I had a perfect time on the Discovery. The scenery was so beautiful. Captain and crew (esp the Chef) were fantastic. Just marvelous

Offering high quality 3 - 6 day cruises with a maximum of 12 guests on the historic Discovery in beautiful Prince William Sound, Alaska (just south of the largest Alaskan city, Anchorage). We do offer a handful of trips that incorporate Denali National Park as well. Prince William Sound encompasses 3,800 miles of coastline to explore via kayak and foot. The Sound is home to the densest concentration of tidewater glaciers in the world, containing 50 glaciers and 17 tidewater glaciers (touching the ocean), known for dramatically calving huge ice chunks into the sea. Enjoy spectacular views from sea level up to 13,000 ft mountain peaks. More than 220 species of birds (and around 200,000 seabirds summer in the Sound), along with 30 species of land mammals, and at least a dozen marine mammal species make this area quite special. Resident marine mammals include humpback, sei, fin, minke, killer whales, and dall's porpoise as well as Steller sea lions, harbor seals, and sea otters. In western Prince William Sound, black bears may be seen on narrow beaches and are most often seen fishing when the salmon are spawning.

This was absolutely the best trip I’ve ever taken, the way to see Alaska! The food was amazing, the people were all wonderful, and the quarters were comfortable.

Fantastic cruise. Captain Dean, his wife and the crew of Erin and Maria made our trip an educational experience of a life time. Erin and Maria taught us about plant and marine life along with glacial geology in PWS. Megan prepared delicious meals for us through out the trip featuring local catch. Captain Dean is the most knowledgeable person on the history, geology and waterways of the Prince William Sound. His advocacy of saving this wilderness area for future generations is A huge voice. With the Discovery we could get very close to glaciers and overnight in quiet coves. Just an awesome trip. Thank you very much

I would say this is by far one of the best trips we've ever taken. From the beginning to the end everything was easy to schedule. 10 days, partial Prince William Sound to Silver Salmon Creek Lodge, always something to do. The Discovery was great. Small intimate setting, great views, extremely knowledgeable crew. Meg and Dean have put together a great crew of guides that went above and beyond to help ensure those without as much experience or mobility could participate in all activities. Glaciers galore, sea life and birds in abundance. The B&B they put us up in had a couple of great hosts that really did a bang up job. The 3 nights and 4 days to Silver Salmon Creek Lodge chasing Brown Bears was fantastic. Up close and personal and never once felt in any danger with these wild animals. The guides were pro's and kept you safe and really did everything possible to ensure you had a great experience. We're planning our next trip already and only been home a week.

If you want to see Alaska, a trip with Discovery Voyages is one of the best ways to immerse yourself in the beauty of this state. Dean and Meg were great hosts with much history and stories to share. Tori and Erin provided exciting kayak and hiking excursions and again were a wealth of knowledge. Thanks to each of you so such a memorable trip. We will be back!

One of the greatest pleasures on discovery is the people I meet that are passengers. Unique and interesting.

The Captain and crew, meals, extraordinary landscapes, glaciers and critters made this trip a lifetime experience. Kayaking around the glaciers and hiking the bog amongst beautiful flowers were highlights along with all the knowledge shared by Capt. Dean, Meg, Erin and Maria. Thank you for such a tremendous and fun experience!
