I purchased a Venta air humidifier from discounttoday.net in December 2025 and, while trying to register the product with Venta, I learned that the serial number had already been submitted. Venta would not honor the warranty since I was not the original owner. Discounttoday.net did not respond to my emails asking about this. The product seems new and is operating as expected. Nonetheless, I will not buy from discounttoday.net again.

We appreciate your feedback and are glad to hear the Venta humidifier is operating as expected. We apologize for the lack of response to your previous emails and for the confusion regarding the product registration. We source our inventory through high-volume wholesale liquidations and authorized secondary distributors, which allows us to offer significantly discounted prices. While the units are brand new, the manufacturer may occasionally list these serial numbers within their internal systems differently than direct-retail units. Although the manufacturer's warranty may be affected by these wholesale deep discounts, we stand behind the quality of the products we sell. If you experience any technical issues, please contact our support team directly. We are committed to ensuring our customers are satisfied with their purchases.

Horrible customer service and maybe a scam. I ordered a Roomba and never heard back about when wit would be shipped. I called several times only to get a voicemail. I sent an email and after a week got a response that it was delayed and would ship. After another week checking online I see the order was cancelled. Don;t trust this site!!!
Response from DiscounttodayFeb 14, 2026
We sincerely apologize for the frustration and the poor communication you experienced regarding your Roomba order. We understand how disappointing it is to wait for an update only to have the order cancelled, and this is not the level of service we aim to provide. The cancellation occurred because we encountered an unexpected logistics issue that prevented us from fulfilling the shipment within our quality standards. While we attempted to resolve the delay, we ultimately chose to cancel and issue a full refund to ensure your funds were not held indefinitely. We are currently restructuring our customer service team and phone systems to ensure calls and emails are handled much more promptly. We appreciate your honest feedback as it helps us identify where we need to improve.

They promise to process your order in 1–3 business days. That doesn’t happen. Then they claim it’ll ship in 3–7 business days. Also doesn’t happen. Email responses are borderline nonexistent and completely useless when they do reply. Calling them is a joke—you’re sent straight to an answering machine every time. Are they a scam? I can’t say that for sure. What I can say is they operate exactly like one: missed timelines, no communication, and zero accountability.

I started to place an order, put my credit card info in and all of a sudden a scam company called Link had called my bank and set up an account where I pay with my card through them. I cancelled the order but link has set up an account in my name. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY And if you have and suddenly had identity theft it probably traces back to this scam.
