It is important to understand that those who need long-term indwelling catheters are always looking out for better and more comfortable products. The traditional Foley Catheter has done it's job for years but it is flawed in terms of material and function. Bladder irritation and worse, reaction to the traditional latex construction makes life difficult. Having been recommended by two friends in the US I explored the possibility of obtaining a uniquely clever catheter with a dual-balloon function; the Poeisis Duette. It works, it is perfect, comfortable and easy to manage. However, the star of this is not the catheter, it's actually the advisor who took me through the whole process of purchase, shipment and order fulfillment; Mariana Kowoll. I know nothing about her other than the fact that I'm indebted to her calm assistance and knowledge. Can you imagine being 2500 miles away and trusting a person you don't know to advise you?
