We completely understand your frustration and since we do not allow refurbished items on discountbandit.com, we will reach out directly to the merchant to clarify our policy for only new items. Our team reached out to you last week with a gesture of goodwill in an effort to turn around your poor experience. Although it cannot reverse the initial experience you had, we hope that this helps you understand how much we value placing customers first.

We are genuinely sorry to hear that our service fell short of your expectations. We take great measures to inform shoppers (on our website and direct communications) that we cannot offer fast shipping times for furniture, lighting, and appliances. Please remember that we do not stock or ship products - we are a deal broker - and we rely on our retail partners to handle this process, which can take additional time. These retailers are also still trying to figure out how to navigate in this new normal as a nationwide surge of online ordering and other pandemic related delays are present. We know how frustrating it is that these delays are passed on to you, and we are sorry for the inconvenience. Please know that retailer's fulfillment teams and shipping services are working tirelessly while adhering to all social distancing and health and safety precautions to try and ship out products in as timely a manner as possible! Thank you for your patience and understanding.

We are genuinely sorry to hear that our service fell short of your expectations. We take great measures to inform shoppers (on our website and direct communications) about our process and the shipping timeframes. Please remember that we do not stock or ship products - we are a deal broker - and we rely on our retail partners to handle this process, which can take additional time. We understand that our business model is unique – and because of this – we are able to get you the best prices on over 5 million products. We strive to make this process clear on our website and in our direct communication with valued shoppers like you. We will continue to prioritize this as we understand the value it brings to you.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We are so sorry that your experience fell short of expectations. While we pride ourselves on delivering excellent prices – we are not able to provide fast turnaround (particularly on furniture, lighting or appliances) – as stated on our website and communications with you. Please remember Discount Bandit does not stock or ship items – we rely on our retail partners to handle this process. In most cases, the retailer gets the item from the manufacturer and that process was slow in your case. We do offer several Professional Service options on our website for appliances, such as haul-away, delivery and warranty options. Each one is set by default to no service and if one is desired, it has to be ticked accordingly. We do not offer warranty options by email. Sorry for any confusion around our services and hope this helps clear up how they work. Our customer care team will be reaching out to you shortly in regards to the warranty.

We feel terrible that you had a bad experience and we're so sorry about the glitch last week with our Counter Offer system. While it was resolved quickly, we understand that it made for a not-fun customer experience. You should have received an email from us Friday with our official apology and offer to help try and turn around the poor experience. If you didn't write to our Customer Care Team at https://www.discountbandit.com/contact.html and we'll get you squared away. So very sorry again.
