My representative is in S. Africa and I'm in California. He was a nice enough person. But time difference and follow through from his team, were lacking. Just needed Solar Plans. Said they could provide them in 8-10 from order. Took over 3 weeks because of communication issues. They didn't read my form carefully and corrections to what they created would come back without the requested changes.

We did not get certain things that Direct solar should have foreseen a need for, and we received way more of some items at our cost. 16 extra rails, for example. The cable order took weeks to get right. Pricing on make-up items we needed were exorbitant. Deliveries were slow. Damage matters were poorly handled and slow. Communication was inept, and slow.

It takes to long to get the order and I had some issues tracking my order, I had to call in 2 times to get the correct tracking number.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I can confirm that your inverter and balance-of-system components have shipped, but looking into your order I see the solar panels and battery have not yet been dispatched. I’ve raised a ticket internally with our logistics team to find out what caused the delay. One of our team members will reach out to you by tomorrow morning with an update on the shipping status and next steps. We appreciate your patience and will make sure you’re kept fully informed until your full system is delivered.

I have received no tracking information, contacted customer service they gave me a route and approximate time line and said the transportation company would reach out to me when delivery is scheduled. Still waiting for delivery!!
