Amazing how a company can offer a at first glance a very nice return quarentee but fail to mention a 15% restocking fee. In my case $90 . This was on an unopened item in the original box. I ordered a travel cpap. The prescription came in and I was told on the phone that the person who review the prescriptions had left early. The weekend passed. No review. I leaft for my trip and the item arrived several days later. No one called me. Very poor service. Don't believe return guarantee. I am disputing the approximately $90 restocking fee.

Terrible customer service! Will never make a cannula purchase again. I ordered Wesmed which apparently been bought out. The product is much cheaper made and made of a very hard plastic. "Comfort plus" is what they call them. I can send them back if I pay a 15% restocking fee and shipping.

I did not order the supplies. They were just sent to me

Simple order of nasal pillows and humidifier chamber. They sent wrong size. I thought no problem, get exhange. Called. Everything ok. Sent them back (10$ by post), they received and said they would "equal exchange at no further cost."Sent me new invoice to approve. Wanted to charge new shipping even though my original order was 0 shipping as i crossed threshold. Called them, they said tough luck. I asked for simple refund then. They said ok and charged 15% restock. I called again they said they offered to send them without shipping, i showed that that was wrong, they "apologized" but didn't want to make anything right even though they claimed charging me shipping (5$) on the exchange order was an oversight on their part. Whatever.

Ordered an 8 cell battery for portable oxygen concentrator by mistake. Needed more hours. Product arrived, I opened the box and realized it was the wrong size battery. Their return policy is they won’t accept it back if the box is opened. That’s ridiculous. How would I know it was the wrong battery if I didn’t open the box ? Very unreasonable return policy.

Placed an order on 7/2 and apparently they were closed on 7/3, so my order didn't get processed until Monday. I paid for priority shipping and their own estimated shipping was for 7/7. As of 7/8, my item is still waiting for a shipping label according to the tracking information. Customer Service cannot tell me when this item will be delivered. I totally understand being closed (they told me that 7/3 was a Federal Holiday. It is not.) but their shipping estimates should have accounted for them being closed. I would have opted for a different shipping option, if their website accurately reflected the shipping. Extremely frustrating because this is medical equipment. So, the item that I needed by tomorrow morning may not be here until Friday, even though I thought it would be delivered yesterday (Tuesday).

I spent 3 days trying to get a prescription from the VA to purchase, out of pocket because I needed a quieter oxygen concentrator to use when sleeping. They didn't like the wording on the prescription and told me just to call the VA to have them change my prescription. VA doesn't work that way. Agreed to refund me. But they still haven't initiated the refund. Glad I used PayPal - with buyer protection.

Somehow after placing a one time order in November 2025, Direct Home Medical signed me up for a recurring subscription for the same items to be shipped every 6 Months! I would NEVER have signed up for that!! In trying to resolve the error, I was advised that in order to be credited the $82.41 that my credit card was charged on 05/29/2026, I would have to pay to return the unordered items at my expense! This is a scam that I will make as many people aware of as possible. There are reputable medical suppliers out there. Direct Home Medical is not one of them!!!! Buyer Beware!!!
