WISH I COULD HAVE LEFT NO STAR AT ALL! LISTEN TO ME when I say they are SCAMMERS THEY will begin SPAMMING YOUR PHONE WITH a bunch of random phone numbers if you chose to sign up with them or NOT. Every hour I get calls FROM THEM & WHOEVER ELSE THEY GAVE MY NUMBER To, until the point where I had to CHANGE MY PHONE NUMBER !

This insurer is top of the line when it comes to creating ways to punish their good customers for what bad customers do. I will be searching for another insurer. Not because my rate increased by $10 for no legitimate reason but because I discovered their policy is to create ways to corruptly nickel and dime you to get everything they can. "OH you live in a bad area" or "ahh you turned a year older" or this "if you will give us your bank information instead of a credit card we will just overlook your bad area and turning a year older". Keep in mind I have no traffic violations, no DUIs, no accidents and excellent credit. But Direct Auto had rather punish and lose a good customer. UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!

I only rated it one star since it was mandatory. I would rate this company as a negative five stars. My daughter started a policy the end of May 2026. At the end of June my credit card was charged for her premium, as expected. The policy cancelled July 13th after the company rejected every form she could provide as proof of residency. She is a full-time college student that has never had a job. They would only accept enrollment verification from a "local" school. What happens when a student choses to attend an "out of state" school? Direct Auto, do you know those exist? She was even told by a representative that the vehicle registration would work. She sent the email and it was rejected. I'm sure that information did not make it on the recorded line! Her policy has been cancelled AND she is being charged a cancellation fee. Consumers beware!!

After 2 year my insurance went up no accident no tickets but ya mine is going up for driving correct hum what a crockpot of $@#! Florida is a big crockpot of $@#!.

First month on Direct Auto, was told my bill would be 250, I was billed for 255, my zip code was entered in wrong, told them that it was an 8 instead of a 9 at the end and was charged $5 for changes made to my policy, what type of ish is that… And the phone number on the site is a law firm. The whole company sounds sketchy!!! Can never get into the app, it always says error, I really don’t think this is a real insurance company…

I’ve had other Insurance Companies, such as GEICO, Usaa, State Farm, and Progressive. And I’ve got to admit, that even though they were a little expensive, they all were Good to me. I thought that, because I only have Only One (1) Vehicle now, I could save a few dollars by switching to “Direct Auto Insurance.” I’m fifty eight (58) years of age, I first became a Licensed Driver, in the State of Florida, at the age of 15. And hence, has been a Safe Driver, with a Clean Driving Record, ever since. But this “Direct Auto Insurance” Crap, without being a major Auto Insurance Company, attempted to charge me as much as the Major Auto Insurance Companies!!! Notwithstanding, I wasn’t in an accident with no other vehicle, because it was I, who had my trailer hitched onto my 2021 Chevrolet Pick-Up Truck. As I was backing into a friend of mine’s driveway, I cut the steering wheel too much. As a result thereof my Trailer swung around (Jackknifed), and damaged my Rear Bumper, and my right rear passenger side panel. So, I filed a claim, with Direct Auto Insurance. The Nut-Case Insurance Adjuster appointed to handle my claim, was more interested in raising my Premiums, than fixing my car/truck. My Deductible was $1,500.00. The adjuster concluded that $1,600.00 was enough to fix my vehicle. Thus, mailing me a Check for $138.00. I own a 8 Cylinder Engine Truck. I spend that , and more every week on fuel alone. On top of that, I thought that I had Rental attached to my Policy. To me, it was as if the Adjuster enjoyed telling that I had to cover the cost of a rental, out of pocket, on my own!!! All in all, I wouldn’t recommend Direct Auto Insurance, to my Worst Of Enemy

DO NOT USE THIS INSURANCE COMPAY!!!! There are other companies, BELIVE me !! After being 2 years with this Company Direct auto Insurance residing at Kissimmee after moving from Miami with 4 cars!! Imagine how much was my monthly payment! My Daughter wasted hit by a You g lady that was on her Cell on a Red Light, and they wanted us to pay for ou damages because the Lady in fault just didn’t answered her phone having the same Direct Auto insurance ! After calling the adjuster many times and no answer, and few other people having the same issue, because after two years with them I started getting the same feed back from old customers that had to changed to another company. I suggest and Strongly recommend you to Not use this company. This is my Second bad review in less than two months to two companies that I thought that they had my back and my Family’s back. Shame on them!!!

I have never been more humiliated and disrespected in my life by Insurance company that I pay almost 400 a month to have insurance. I’m sitting up here. The people who have my car had been calling or leave messages for my adjuster. She is not answering. I only got the money from them for a rental car for eight days and that is almost up. I asked to speak to a manager. Paulina wouldn’t connect me to a manager. Talking about, oh it’s the holidays.😒😒people💨💨⌚️⌚️ getting accidents all the time, somebody should be Available to talk to me. I’m sorry for you guys, but I would just have to pay a high premium somewhere else they are so rude so disrespectful won’t let you talk to the managers won’t do nothing. Nobody has reached out to me. I am so frustrated but this is all I can afford. This is not worth it. Allstate is some bullshit. Direct auto is. too
