I only gave a zero because I can’t give a minus 5 star. Be careful with this company. They quoted me a price then after they got my down payment they changed the payment for basic pip on two cars to almost 200 dollars so I called and canceled then went with another insurance company. Direct auto continued for a couple of months to take money from my account. 😡 So i basically paid two insurance companies then to add insult to injury the thieving SSA Bank of America continued to allow this company to take from my account but I had to respond to text messages to have access to my money. From this point I’ll keep my money in the bank of titty city. 🙄 large companies in my opinion are robbing hard working people. This country is failing big time with greed. To be continued. 🤔 ⏰⏲️ ⌚️⏳

They double charged me 155 I called to have a payment moved and they said it was changed it was not when trying to report vehicle had been stolen I was on hold and never got an answer

They keep trying to charge me more money I couldn't pay my insurance because they want me to pay $140 . For my insurance they would let me pay the 77 dollar I owe couldn't pay

Direct Auto is a bunch of idiots! DO NOT GO WITH THEM! They require a bunch of nonsense, as well as beat around the bush and don't update paper work on purpose so they can charge extra fees to new applicants who are unaware! As well as the random (400) dollar cancelation policy. Screw Direct Auto. They can go DIRECTLY to HELL lol.

They aren’t very helpful. The fees are outrageous. My bill is 445 a month and bc I can’t do monthly payments it’s going to bring my bill too 529. That’s insane increase. I’ll be cancelling and will go to another honest company who charges accordingly and not just random fees. Direct Auto is stingy and will fee up the ass for every little thing. Going somewhere else. Charged me for 3 months for a vehicle I cannot drive, and then charged an extra amount when I canceled. This is all after I told them I have proof that I can't drive it and it's now a civil court matter, but nope still charged me.

I recently went to file a claim and found out that I only had liability insurance on my car because of an employee error! Now they don’t want to fix the problem so I can get my car fixed! I’m going to cancel my policy because you treat customers like that. Now I getting penalized for there mistake.

Direct auto insurance is a fraudulent scam. The amount quoted me was not the amount sent to me. I had the agent on the phone as I received the email with a different quote. I had already given the agent my banking information because of the verbal quote. When I told her the email wasn't what she quoted, she hung up. I called back 7 times. Either the agents told me I did not have a policy or they hung up on me. I emailed the agent several times asking to just cancel the policy and do not take money put of my account. She never responded. Then the money was drafted out of my account. Today I called again. As I was explaining the situation, the agent hung up. Again! I already called my bank to dispute the charge. THESE PEOPLE ARE CROOKS! DO NOT GET THIS INSURANCE. THEY'RE CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS!
