Worst insurance company hands down trash!!!!! Charging me out the nose and charging me multiple times a month and cancelling policy repeatedly! Customer service is useless wouldn't trust them with wiping themselves!!!! Don't go through them unless you want a headache!

I have continually had issues with Direct Auto's DynamicDrive. I am IT for the National Guard and I know how to use phones, computers and Apps, their App is the worst. I have walked through loading, activating and verifying the App works with Direct Auto Customer just to have it read 0 Trips recorded, thus being charged a $30 fee. I received another bill for $69 near the end of the policy which I called on and they took the fee off only to receive another bill after I did not renew May 27th saying I owe them $69. I called today June 06 to get them to dispute the fee and they said I'd have to prove I was using the App which I deleted and discontinued in March, this is unacceptable, I network with many many soldiers, civilians and members of various car and bike clubs that I've told how bad the customer service and Apps are.

I tried to cancel my policy today and they made me call when they are open, write down a written statement, and then wanted to charge me 10 dollars to cancel. I decided to just let it expire because the customer support was terrible to deal with. They struggled to even put together a sentence.

This company is a complete scam. They canceled my policy a month after it started and then tried to charge me for six months of coverage. I am now getting letters, threatening to send money for a policy that they canceled to a collection agency. Again, they are the ones that canceled my policy and they are the ones that tried to continue to charge me for it anyway. Never ever ever use this company. It is essentially the equivalent of falling for a scam.

If I could leave negative stars i definitely would. So I payed my bill last month on the due date on this due date the app was telling me my policy was canceled and just paid the reimbursement fee this company is garbage stay away I probably going back to state farm no late fee and ru around and no bs

Got in a car accident with someone who had their insurance. Waiting on a rental vehicle for three days and no responses from adjusters. If this is how they treat their claims, imagine how they treat their customers.

Been waiting 12 days for a refund on my insurance policy called multiple times but they just give me the run around will not be coming back

I signed off on a policy for $309 per month and the first month they withdrew $626 from our checking. I called and got the “meh, whatever” treatment. They don’t care if you report them. I did find out that they had added my unlicensed wife as a driver with 0 years experience. They tried to blame this on me… (why on earth would I add my wife as a driver when she is medically blocked from ever having a drivers license?) They even said that she was assigned to our blue Ford Fusion. In a nutshell, someone decided to put her down as a driver of that particular car with 0 years experience and then blamed it on me. Their advice.. “get a different policy.” This is a terrible mess, and no one has been able to tell me if or when we will ever get our refund.
