I'll never shop at a Dicks store again
I'll never shop at a Dicks store again. I bought a pair of running shoes late on a Sunday (last week) after trying on several pairs. Took them home, wore them outside for a few minutes and discovered they were uncomfortably narrow. I had not noticed this while in the store so I returned them to the store on that Tuesday and was declined because they had been worn outside. For a billion dollar chain Dicks has really gone down hill fast. Their return policy is cheap and clearly never discussed with customers when buying shoes. Either train your sales people to tell everyone they cannot return shoes whenever they have been taken home (and touched the ground) or put some signs up that warn the customers in the shoe section! Also, as an FYI, I've been to three Dicks stores in a week and I can tell you all of your stores have 5 times as much baseball gear for boys compared to the softball gear for girls. My family will find somewhere else to buy all of our sporting equipment. Dicks has become too much of a hassle. Cheers, a very disappointed ex-customer
