DICK'S Sporting GoodsReviews of dickssportinggoods.com

I ordered a 64 gun safe in home room of choice delivery. Paid over 500 extra for the delivery plus all the fees that went with the standard service. The guys tried to leave it in my driveway in the rain and argued with me about the delivery I paid for. They refuse to bring it inside and I had to sent it back. Now Dick's has my money my safe and won't return calls . They give me the run around when I call. Don't buy from them.

The clothing quality at Dick's is worse than what you'd get at a Tijuana swap meet. I ordered 3 tees that Dick's advertised as "high quality" and these shirts were so thin (sheer) you could see through material like you'd expect if you ordered lingerie.

I will never order from them again! I ordered a Bucs shirt on Jan. 28 and it was supposed to be here Feb. 2. It never came. I still haven't even received a shipping confirmation. Sent an email 2 days ago and never received a response. I called yesterday, and the rep didn't seem to care. I see online on other reviews that this is happening to a lot of people pertaining to Bucs gear. I truly believe they lie about the shipping speed to make a sale. Never again!

I went to the Dick's Sporting Goods Store at Concord CA. I just want to share that the staff were lazy, unwilling to help and don't really know what they were doing. I understand that the store was closing but it shouldn't be an excuse for a crappy customer service. There was only 1 person who was helpful and he was like a supv. Was asking for help to do an online order and the lady in the cashier was unwilling to help and the guy that eventually helped me place an order was getting irritated bec the coupon is not working and thus wanted me to order myself at home instead of trying to resolve the prob. He kept trying to have other staff finish his work as well. Bad experience here bec some staff were just chatting but then when asked for help they're not helpful at all.

Staff was extremely rude and didn’t want to help. Manager came over and started complaining and saying how he wasn’t going To help because he’s had a long day and didn’t have lunch and was in a bad mood

Very shady business practice, customer service, and shipping department. I placed a Pre-Sale order online in December for a product. I get an email update on 1/7/21 that the item is delayed and will ship by 1/22/21. By 1/26/21, my order still has not shipped out so I contacted customer service about a status update and they escalated it to a higher up. The next day, they cancelled my order saying it was out of stock, which should not have been the case because that is the whole point of a Pre-Sale/Pre-order system. You're supposed to only take pre-sale orders based on how many orders you can fulfill. If it was out of stock, I should've been notified immediately when I placed the order. I shouldn't have to wait more than a month to be told out of stock. It just doesn't add up. So I tried contacting customer service again for an explanation and the agents were not able to tell me anything and said I should speak to a supervisor but every time I tried to ask them to connect me to a supervisor, they would disconnect the chat or call. It sounded a little suspicious that they wouldn't connect me to a supervisor or the shipping department. After numerous attempts, I was able to connect to a higher-up representative via a call. I was told that they are experiencing delays and that they're still waiting for the shipment but could not explain why my order would get cancelled if they're still awaiting shipment. If anything, it should still be in the delayed/in-process stage of an order. I know a few people who also placed this pre-sale order as well and they received the product. What an odd coincidence that my order got cancelled after I inquired about it to a customer service agent. It seemed like someone in their departments cancelled my order on purpose and told me it was out of stock. One of the service agents offered me a small amount reward points which would be useless to me considering I would not want to shop from Dick's Sporting Goods again after this negative experience. Overall a shady online practice and bad customer service.

We purchased a Sole treadmill from our local Dick's Sporting Goods at the end of December 2019. At that time, we also purchased a service agreement and extended warranty. They were to service the equipment 1X/year. It came with a 1 year warranty and that was extended for some $300.00. After 13 months and no call for a service appointment, we began to call the warranty service center and the treadmill manufacturer. The wait was for some 1+ hours to speak with someone at these two calls, only for the person on the line to point the finger at the other firm. One of the warranty service people even stated that the warranty started on on the day we paid the store rather than the date it was delivered some 5 weeks later! Know that we spent hours on the phone. Finally, we called the local store manager who promised to get to the bottom of the issue and have someone call us. After three days and no return call, we went to the local store. At that time, we spoke with the same local manager and requested that we get our money back. While he did agree with us, we had to take the refund in the form of a store gift card. Please do not shop at Dick's, do not purchase a treadmill there, and if you do that DO NOT BUY AN EXTENDED WARRANTY AND SERVICE AGREEMENT. It was, is and will most assuredly turn out to be a colossal waste of your time and money.
