Still awaiting my order...It's been a month!!

I bought a bike for my son here. It was assembled by their "expert team." During his very first ride, the left pedal fell off causing him to crash and almost fall into traffic. Upon inspection, the threads on the pedal arm had been totally stripped away by someone at the store trying to screw it on backwards. Left-side pedals are threaded counter-clockwise instead of the traditional clockwise orientation (otherwise you would loosen the pedal just by pedaling). Unfortunately, the totally incompetent "experts" at Dick's Sporting Goods are unaware of this fact and forced the pedal in backwards, just demolishing the threads in the process, and causing my son's injury. I brought the bike back and told a manager what happened. He totally blew me off, and made it clear he would not be informing his employees that left-side pedals are screwed on counter-clockwise. A couple months later, I bought an exercise bike here, and when I opened the box, it was clear this was a floor model that had been sloppily torn down and the pieces thrown loose into the box. Not wanting to make another trip back, I decided to just settle for the used bike I paid full price for. However, when I got to the pedals, guess what? That's right, the threads on the left pedal were destroyed so badly that the pedal just freely slid in and out of the pedal arm. It was clear that somebody (probably the same "expert" that was never retrained by their criminally negligent manager) attempted to force the pedal to be screwed in backwards, destroying the threading in the process. Just insane that Dick's sporting goods is so fervently dedicated to incompetence at all costs. Have not been back since, and will never go back. You're about 10,000 times more likely to get something functional sent over from China than you are from Dick's Sporting "Goods."

They packed 2 fitted hats into a box about the size of a coffee mug. Both hats were ruined and completely lost their shape. I had to drive 45 mins to my nearest Dick's to complain and the manager (who was about 19yrs old) could not have cared less and made excuses for the poor packing job rather than apologize to me and try to make it right. Refunded my money and now waiting another 7-10 days for a reorder. Insane!

I order a total of $15k weight lifting equipments and none of them have arrived, called Dick’s and their customer service told me to get in touch with the shipping company that handle the shipping, called them and they try to push the responsibility back to dickDick’s stating that they didn’t send the shipping order for my package, this have been on going for 3 to 4 months and in the end I file a formal complaint to the state attorney general and a police report for the fraud!

I went into the Diks location at the fountain shopping center in plantation Fl on university drive' I seen ads for Asics athletics sneakers on sale. I entered the store at around 2.30 PM and I went to the section of the store for Mens sneakers and saw two employees who were busy gossiping about sports. I asked them where are the Asics and one of them walked away and other gave me attitude like I was bothering them and he pointed to an area with the shoes I was looking for and the stock didnt have the shoes I looking for. I appoched the salesman with the the bad attitude and he told me I should have checked on the internet, if the Item was available at that particular store. It was kind of like he was criticizing me for not doing my home work. I came to Diks because I used to be a customer with Sports authority and the customer service there was very good. I realized when DIkss took this over they are not training there employees to service the customers in the right way as Sports authority did. Any way I went to Kohl's and found the sneakers I was looking for and I will never shop at DIks again

I order a product online and after I purchased I got message that product is not available anymore. And i didn't get any refund how convenient to get that message after payment went trough

Customer service horrible. The final straw was when they made decision to stop selling guns and ammo in store…If I had been shareholder in this company trying to make radical liberal statement when they melted down millions of $s worth of guns rather than returning to manufacture! I can’t do business with company and CEO so radical to think that act of stupidity would have any affect on crime…our local DDGalso doesn’t sell any Hunting clothing so I guess trying to make statement against Hunters or maybe hunters are buying from retailers that carry entire line if hunters needs…So our entire family shops at Local Academy sporting goods that carry items we need from golfing tennis to hunting….Havent missed DSG at all and There is green grass growing in parking lot of local DSG store so I guess that speaks for how others feel about DSG too….

Completely overpriced. Went to the store one day, and I found nothing to my liking. Amazon has better stuff at CHEAPER PRICES.
