Customer service was horrendous. I called September 29th evening and asked to schedule an appointment for Saturday October 3rd. This is after me submitting online twice for an appointment but never had any reach out or respond. They offered me an appointment that Saturday at 10am when they opened. I accepted and said I was bringing my mom so we could learn about the process, different options, and to get an idea of what my price range would be or could be based on what I liked. We go in and there are about 15-20 workers. We get approached right away and asked who we were seeing for the appointment and if they had texted me.I told them no one gave me the name of who I’d be working with or sent a follow up text about a confirmation. They acted as if I were lying. After them looking around at each other confused a woman named Nancy Seeman said she could talk to us. She was harsh and only showed me a small box of examples of ring sizes. I tried to engage and ask questions to see different styles and she was very quick to just say it’s easy just bring your boyfriend in and we will go through it. She acted as if we were a bother and also made me feel like I was in the pretty woman movie. I went with a friend to brilliant earth and it was amazing all the details and options they showed her. They were so informative talking about all the options she could choose from. I was so disappointed and upset with this experience. I won’t be returning.

I don't know how purchasing jewelry from this store is. My review is just about getting rings sized/repaired. I stopped in based on the reviews. I have a ring that had a 3.0+mm wide and 2.3mm depth band. It needed to be sized down almost a full size. I took it in and was guaranteed they could do it no issue... They told me the band would get thicker because they would be bringing the thicker sides in. I left it with them for a week, as I don't live in Columbus . I was so happy to get it back and didn't really notice until about half an hour later: my ring hurt to wear. I took it off and looked at it and I was devastated. You could feel where they cut the shank, it was wavy, the was no uniformity to the edges, and it was oblong. I called and they apologized profusely. Asked me to take it to the store in Cleveland and they would let that store know we were coming. They did not. The store in Cleveland had no idea I was coming. Turns out, I paid the store in Columbus for the honor of someone ruining my ring. It lost nearly half a mm in depth and thickness. The store in Cleveland did the best they could. They would have had to order shanks and tried to color match the rose gold but it could have ended worse than before. Turns out the Columbus store didn't even resize it correctly and left it a quarter of a size too big. So unless you want your jewelry ruined, take it anywhere else. We were going to purchase an engagement ring from this company, but I'll take my business to alibaba before here. The store manager did refund my 125 resizing fee, or the fee I paid them to take gold out of my ring and leave me with something I couldn't wear. He told me it was weird that it ended up thinner than before because "taking a ring in shouldnt do that". My ring was 2.5mm wide and 1.9mm depth before the Cleveland. Actually fixed it. My question is this: where is the material they took out of my ring and why was I not compensated for that when they trashed my ring? My ring will never be the same. Go anywhere else.

I went into the store with my daughter to look for an engagement ring. We were greeted by a wonderful young woman who identified herself as the office manager, she explained the sales associates where all busy but she was happy to show us any rings we wanted, my daughter was happily trying rings with her best friend helping, we hade it 3/4 of the way around the case trying rings. We were then introduced to a young man Shyhiem and said he would be helping us the rest of the way. The moment he opened his mouth you could here his condescending tone speaking to my daughter, he asked her what she was looking for we currently had a variety of rings the tray 7-8, he began by scooping everything except the two that broadly met what she was describing. She was asking about shapes and mentioned "moval" which he promptly said isn't a thing and began talking about the internet making things that aren't so. She asked about a step cut or faceted cut that was promptly shut down by why she should want that, he also talked about chocolate diamonds and how their quality was crap and began showing her cuts of diamonds, as she was asking about something else. The misogyny was thick with this young man down to his facial expressions when she was trying to ask questions. Point is there is a way to explain your position without totally offending the WOMAN who is picking her engagement ring without making them feel some kind of way. The store was beautiful and had great pieces which I am positive my daughter would have purchased. Train the gentlemen of the store how to respect woman and speak appropriately. We went to a small local jeweler right down the road spent and hour talking with the owner and she got the perfect custom ring of her dreams!

I went in to purchase a setting for my engagement ring and spoke with both Victor and Ken during my visit. Victor was the sales associate who assisted me in selecting the setting, and after we agreed on the style and price, I left my diamond with them. They assured me they would contact me once the ring was ready. Weeks later, Victor texted saying the ring was done. I returned to the store, only to find my diamond placed in the WRONG setting and not the one I had chosen. Thankfully, I had taken a picture of the correct setting during my last visit, so I showed it to the staff, including the general manager Daniel. Once confronted with the proof, they admitted the mistake and placed a rush order to try to get it fixed in time. That should’ve been the end of it but unfortunately it wasn't. Things got even worse! A few days later, Victor calls me and has the nerve to say, “I heard you didn’t like the setting you picked out and requested a different one.” I told him the setting they initially ordered was not what I chose. He then flat-out told me, “No sir, that was the setting you picked.” At that point, I asked to speak to a manager because I was highly upset and refused to be called a liar. Victor transferred the call to Ken and as I tried to explain the situation, he started yelling at me over the phone and threatened to cancel the order. I told him I didn’t want to cancel, I just wanted to make sure the right setting was ordered this time. Instead of apologizing or offering any sort of customer service, he doubled down saying Daniel and the team had “taken care of it” and I’d get my ring soon. No empathy, and zero professionalism. When I went to pick up the ring (again), both Ken and Victor were there. I showed Ken the picture of the correct setting and guess what? He admitted that yes, that was the one I had originally picked out. So they finally acknowledged the mistake and yet... Ken STILL kept yelling at me and threatened to cancel the order AGAIN. What kind of customer service is this? Since my proposal date was fast approaching, I had no choice but to pay the remaining balance just to get the ring and be done with them. Only after I paid did Ken decide to calm down and actually listen to what happened. I told them the mistake happened because while I was taking a picture of the setting I actually chose, Victor grabbed a different one and entered the wrong serial number. It was a simple mistake, but the handling of it was completely unacceptable. Mistakes happen but this wasn’t just about a wrong order. This was about how horribly they treated me from start to finish. The customer service provided by Victor and Ken was beyond terrible. I will never purchase anything from Diamonds Direct Atlanta again, and I strongly urge everyone to stay far away.

We made a large purchase of vacuum cups and the height would not work with our set up. We returned the cups for credit. Diamond Direct took the cups back Inspected the cups and never issued the 6000.00 credit. three years later they sent me a few hundred dollars in product and are now ghosting me again. They will sell you stuff but God Forbid you need a return credit. Screwed us for 4500.00

My girlfriend and I came in Saturday morning shopping for an engagement ring. Matthew Clements was our Diamond expert. My girlfriend and I entered very open minded, neither of us knew what we were looking for exactly, I had a vague budget, but my girlfriend is not the type to be moved by large diamonds, how pure the gold is, or how unique the cut may be. Matthew was very knowledgeable, and as we shopped, he kept trying to tie in his and his wife's story into our ring shopping experience, on the surface there is nothing wrong with that, but it was obvious to us he was trying to align his relationship with his wife with ours. At the beginning of our ring shopping experience, his wife was "very picky and designed every detail of the ring" and at the end his wife was "just like your girlfriend, easy going and not very picky". Early on he called my girlfriend "plain" because she wasn’t wearing makeup and didn’t have her nails done (she's a nurse and isn't allowed to have fake or long nails and the constant washing of hands does not lend itself to palm olive-hand-model looking hands). Matthew also kept referring to my girlfriend’s hands as "paws" and I know he wasn't insulting her, but after that "plain" comment, that also rubbed me the wrong way. When my girlfriend was asked to step out of the room so that Matthew and I could speak about price and how soon I would receive the ring, he kept pushing a financing plan where I would have to open a Wells Fargo account, I was not interested in opening a Wells Fargo account. Matthew also tried to sell us on a certain brand of band, we liked that brand’s bands and never asked to see other band options, but he tried his best to sell us the Diamonds Direct flavor of the week.While him and I spoke, he was pushing a particular diamond and when I said I would have an answer next week he kept doing the age-old salesman tactic of "well I can’t guarantee this diamond will be here next week unless you put money down today”, charming Matthew. My girlfriend doesn't want a natural diamond, each time we brought up lab made diamonds he would wave us away and talk about their deprecating value, how natural diamonds are "unique and natural like your love", and that “you just don’t want that”. He simply would not consider selling us a lab diamond, lest he be some fool’s gold peddler at a bazaar praying on some distant traveler’s ignorance.

I am now into my fifth week and the ring I have ordered still hasn't even shipped. I never get told of any delays unless I chase them down to see what is going on. Truth be told, I'm still trying to figure out if this is a scam
