When your package arrived, our team opened it and found that 9 of the 13 boxes had significant staining, in most cases covering the box from top to bottom. We documented each one with photos, which we included in your adjustment email and also sent to you separately. All of our processing is recorded on video as well, and we’re happy to share that footage with you if you’d like to review it. As stated in our purchasing guidelines, we can only buy supplies in original, factory-sealed, mint condition. Stained boxes are considered damaged, and for health and safety reasons we’re unable to resell them and have to donate or discard them. We understand how disappointing this is. Please know it’s disappointing for us too, since we cover shipping costs upfront and are only able to stay in business when we can purchase the supplies our sellers send. Regarding payment, when we attempted to send funds to the PayPal account you provided, PayPal returned an error indicating the account is registered outside the United States, which prevented the transfer. After several attempts, we let you know and offered to pay you by check instead, which you agreed to. If you’d like to understand why PayPal flagged the account, PayPal’s support team will be able to explain the details. For privacy reasons, Paypal will never share any details about your account with us. We truly value every seller and take our reputation for honest, transparent service seriously. When your package arrived, our team opened it and found food residue inside the shipping box. As you mentioned when we spoke by phone, the supplies were shipped in a box that had previously been used for food. Three of your four boxes arrived in good condition, and we paid you in full for those. The fourth box had visible stains across its surface, which we documented with photos. We included those photos in the adjustment email stating why there was a deduction, sent to you at the time of inspection, and we also shared our processing video with you afterward so you could see exactly how the box arrived for your reference. If you did not see that email, please check your spam or junk folder, as it sometimes is filtered there depending on your email provider. As stated in our purchasing guidelines, we can only buy supplies in original, factory-sealed, mint condition. Stained boxes are considered damaged, and for health, legal and safety reasons we’re unable to resell them. We know that’s frustrating, and it’s disappointing for us too, since we cover shipping costs upfront and can only stay in business when we’re able to purchase the supplies our sellers send. We actually agree with your advice to photograph your supplies before shipping, and we encourage every seller to do so. We’d also add one more tip for anyone reading: always pack supplies in a new, clean, sturdy shipping box with plenty of clean packing materials. Boxes that previously held food or other products can transfer residue, stains and moisture during transit, even when the supplies looked perfect when they went in.
