Watch out when trying to get the 50% reimbursement for expensive dental procedures. They would not reimburse me the 50% of cost. Scammers...

I was with this plan for six months. Nothing but problems! I call to get list of network dental providers. I was told I could keep using my same dentist except I would need to file reimbursement. The person even sent me the link to use when I was ready. Had three claims same month they paid one and said the others were out of network when all the visits were to the same provider! I went to the grocery store and the OTC would not approve my benefits at the register I called in. I was told to just go ahead and pay for it, and they would reimburse me. I sent in a clear copy of the receipt with the store and the date. I purchased 22 items. First I was told they never got the request for reimbursement. I asked for it to be escalate it for supervisor I never got a call back then when I call back, I was told I never requested a call back then I was told it was denied because none of my items were eligible even though I bought the same items I’ve been buying. Then I was told the date and store was not on the receipt, which was a lie. Requested a call back again then I was told I was permanently denied reimbursement. To this day, no one has ever sent me anything in writing explaining that my reimbursement request was denied and why and no one has ever returned a single phone call. Try to use my vision benefit. They gave me a list of providers that took the plan. None of the three they provided me took the plan. Spent an hour on the phone with them while at a vision center. They had referred me to finally after 45 minutes, a representative said oh you have to tell them it’s premier vision. Nobody ever said that before. This plan is the worst, totally unprofessional, totally untrained staff. Do not waste your time with this plan. It could be good because it has good benefits, but very limited coverage and super bad Customer Service help.

If I could give below 0 I would. There is always an issue with items submitted for reimbursement. And God help if you need help from customer service. You have to go through multiple people to try and get an answer. Takes for ever for someone to answer the call when you call in. Then because they don’t know they have to forward you to a different department but that department foe not answer the phone! This is viscous cycle. Can wait till I can sign up with a reputable company!

Beware insurance shopper devoted health comes across as a very caring health insurance company. But beware, they are just like all the other ones. Horrible. That's why they have such a low rating. Check out what other people are saying about them. Before you choose to voted health, I have been denied 3 times in April for health problems. 3 times mind you not once, but 3 times in the month of April alone. What does that tell you about devoted health? There's a bottom of my pecket. Order for finding an insurance companies. I am going to switch tomorrow. It's too late today to switch. But I will find a better insurance company through my broker. No matter what it takes devoted health, you could go to hell. Sorry for being so rude.But your must be under forty two.Because they acted like you're under forty.The way you're running your company

Devoted health insurance requires they get pre-authorization for everything other than your primary care physician. It doesn't matter if the Doctor orders a test, still needs pre-authorized. It refused to pay for a colagard test, REALLY! Never had any issues with Anthem.

I am a customer a devoted health I switch from people's house to devoted health thought that I'd give them a try however I wrote a review myself all I can say let me tell all of you people out there dealing with devoted health I've been through 6 months of turmoil trying to deal with devoted health until I wrote my review then all of a sudden things started moving when corporate people started calling me to see what they could do like stated all of their doctors most don't want to accept the voted health they pull you out of network with lcmc to send you the doctors that they want you to go to I wrote a long review before however the ball is starting to roll now that I've got with corporate corporate is calling me personally however I'm going to write this review to let everybody know devoted has excellent perks over the counter spending good grocery cards CVS give backs you name it that perks are beautiful however let me just State this and please everybody read this when you get down to business with devoted they are selling you with their perks especially old people that don't have a lot of money I need financial help but a groceries their perks they're over the counter all the freebies they give you just take this into consideration what did you buy insurance for was it for food or was it for medical if it was food you're doing fine but when you're dealing with specialty doctors you going to run into a bunch of hell just remember this if you need food that bad go get some food stamps because when it comes down to specialty doctor specialty clinics anything medical you're going to run into hell so if you only worried about food or perks go with devoted you can't beat them however why do you have health insurance for food or for medical reasons enjoy the food while you can because when it comes time to go see specialist and real money spending comes in that's when you're going to play hell I'll leave it at this what do you have medical insurance for for your health or for food and over the counter parks I wrote a previous review I was the one state and I live here in Louisiana and was playing hell getting a doctor that accept them yes they give you a list of specialists and get don't get me wrong they're all good doctors however they want cash up front and get reimbursed by devoted I've been on the phone with them for the last 3 weeks finally things are getting worked out now that I wrote negative reviews after my review hit truss pilot my phone didn't stop ringing I guess they were trying to tell me shut it down we're going to take care of you with now things are starting to finally move yes I finally got to see a specialist yes my PCP and my gastrologist or keeping in touch and calling me back including devoted I'm going to stick it out with them now that they know who I am and I know they know I wrote a negative review and I'm not going to draw this one out like I did the last one like I said I'm going to ride it out till open enrollment but so far they have been working with me after I wrote a bad review I'll just leave it at this what are you looking for free food and perks or are you looking for medical help if you look if a medical help go somewhere else if you're looking for food and perks over the counter go with devoted they're great for that just remember that food ain't going to do you no good if you can't get in to see a specialist when you really need one like I said I'm going to ride it out and I know how to navigate this system we'll see by time open enrollment com just remember this if you need food that bad go get some food stamps because once it comes the catastrophic medical conditions you're going to play hell with devoted believe me I went through it most people will give up however I hung in there and fought them till they finally worked out the problems that they were trying to get me to work out it was nothing but hell however now even my PCP office knows who I am my doctor's know who I am personally and even devoted those who I am I don't like right negative reviews however when dealing with any insurance company don't worry about the perks worry about their medical coverage do your homework before signing on with any insurance company nobody reads the fine prints they worry about the freebies

This is the worst insurance company I've ever had. They refuse to pay my provider, who was told she was in Network. Im out $2500 because they refuse to pay. She was also told they don't tell you if after applying to be a preferred provider that you weren't approved. Update: Devoted is going to unenroll me at the end of the month. No correspondence re: paying my providers. I want to get out of Devoted, but they're refusing, even after being told on the phone I could. I get different information each time, saying someone will get back to me within 48 hours. No response. Ive faxed two appeals. No response. They never respond, never say the same thing twice, and now I'm stuck for 6 more months with them. They are a ripoff. Horrible company.

I change from Humana to devoted and then I changed my mind. To get even with me they enroll me back to Humana with no benefits. None what so ever. I am a 72 year senior now I have no help any kind of help. Evil people.
