We never could get the AC unit to come on. Luckily the ceiling fan had a handy remote that allowed us to crank up the airflow and stay cool through the night. Its possible we just didnt know how to work the device or remote control to the unit.

Our stay went fine. The accommodations are basic and very clean. Would appreciate simple, strong black coffee in the morning. Otherwise, price and location were very good! Thank you!

The room was a bit smaller than expected but very clean and exactly what we needed for one night. Walls are thin though. I could hear my the neighboring room coughing. Only 15 min walking/4 min driving from cruise terminal. 5 min walking distance to several restaurants. I wouldn't stay with a family but it was fine for my husband and I for a night's stay before our cruise.

We loved this place. Perfect for the 1 night stays before cruise! Only thing I wish is it had a common area to sit and talk with your group

Very cute and clean spot. Loved the location and the convenience of using a code to get in and out instead of key cards. Netflix was a big plus. A little smaller than expected but still a good time.

Small room but well arranged. Very clean and much more economical than others. Best for singles but adequate for couples short stay due to size. No contact with manager during stay but no problem. Safe neighborhood, in walking distance of restaurants on Strand. 1 mile from cruise terminals.

Our stay at Domum de Vencé was convenient to our Galveston cruise. Although the room was small, it met our needs. We enjoyed the Keurig coffee in the commons area before we left. (I only gave 4 stars because it was very difficult to locate after dark, and the path to the front door had no sidewalk and was a little hazardous due to unevenness of the ground due to roots.) ...We would consider this location again!

Clean and cute but bed was uncomfortable.
