The pictures made it seem like a much larger room but it was basically a closet with a bathroom in it. We did not get housekeeping, we tried to ask about it and they just said they would get it the next day. When we arrived there were spiders crawling on the ceiling. There was mold on the shower curtain. When we finally did get housekeeping, 2 days into our stay, they didn’t sweep the sand off of the, maybe, 3 square foot area where we could walk so it was impossible to not track it into the bed. They talk about the complementary WiFi but it hardly worked either, not that we needed it a lot but trying to wind down with a show after being in the sun all day was what we were trying to do. The ac did not work well either so the room stayed muggy and somewhat warm. There was no signage when you pull up so we had to approach the house to be sure the number was correct according to the address. Seemed odd for a place that calls itself a hotel. The entire description is extremely generous considering what you actually end up getting when you walk in. Though I guess “technically” they do not lie. It was cheaper than some but we definitely found out why.

It nice for someone who need and overnight stay but not for a few days. The code didn’t work, she had to give me a key , the floors were dirty, the smell of the place was horrible. There wasn’t any trash cans in the room only the restroom. From the viewing on the website made it look different than what we expected. I’m not sure if you had bigger rooms but and IF I was to stay again it will be just myself.

Very cute and quaint, and perfect for a solo stay. Parking, like all of Galveston, was terrible and to have only 1 cup for coffee (and not any other cup to be found) when we booked for 2 people was really annoying. Did not like the fact that we had no control over the temperature in the room. It was stuffy and humid and for a couple hoping for a lovely romantic stay, it was very uncomfortable. Now, had I been alone, this place would have been perfect. We actually booked the second night at a hotel just to get some sleep.

Very small room - bed for two in corner, even in the bathroom no room to place the usual things. Pictures over-promised. House does not even have a sidewalk... Nicely appointed hallways etc, and clean, but neither the room nor the location worked for us on New Year’s eve. We turned around and went back to Houston.

Clean and cozy room, good location and comfortable bed. Friendly staff assisted us right away.
