The room was really lovely and in a great location. I loved the digital locks, the room was very clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the bed and pillows were way too soft and uncomfortable. Also the bed had a big gap between the wall, which made it feel like you were falling in. Other than that everything was absolutely awesome.

Enjoyed the atmosphere, very nice up to date furnishing. Room was nice, bathroom needed a longer glass on the shower water drenched the floor was disappointed cause breakfast wasnt served. So it didn't give me the true bed and breakfast experience. Will come back if breakfast is added to the amenities.

Great stayt. Very quiet, easy to access. Room size was good for us. Only wish there was a fridge of some sort to keep something cold. No way to control A/C. But would stay here again.

Loved the place! And a preserved 1886 home with wonderfully hip public areas and rooms! I stayed Domum for a single night and was in town for business. My only reason for not granting five stars was a lack of hot water on the morning of my check out (Had a wonderful hot shower at night but a lack of hot water the next morning, although I was in the shower before 7 AM) and for spotty WiFi TV connection. (TV worked once in the early evening on then day I checked in but would not work for me on thereafter. But then, WHO goes to beautiful Galveston to stay in the room to watch TV anyway?!) Other than that, the room was all that I had hoped, Beautifully appointed with the latest beds, linens, toiletries, black out curtains, with absolutely exceptional bathroom facilities! Beautifully functioning air-conditioning. The bed was pure bliss and absolute heaven, with fluffy pillows and wonderful linens. Extremely accommodating staff, made allowances for my inability to download the app that would allow me to bypass the magnetic locks on the exterior doors and my room door: Provided me with a physical key to allow me to enter my room! (Thank you!) And provided a free parking pass for me to park my vehicle in the permit-only residential neighborhood. The price is incredibly reasonable and the location, for me, gets me closer to everything that I want to see in Galveston – – which most often does not include anything near the seawall or the beach. I hope to return to Domum de Vence’ As soon as Darci and her friendly, professional, and efficient staff will have me again!

Loved the room and the use of technology to check in and access the accommodation. Lights are very bright and would suggest dimmer switches. I had room #1 which is at the entrance to the property. I did not hear anyone entering or leaving which was a plus, though with being able to use technology it would have been nice if the lights in the hallway dimmed ore there wasn't much light coming through the door.

Neat old house with a good location and easy parking with the permit provided. Quick walk to downtown, or short drive to the beach. The room I stayed in was very small (#2) but decent for a weekend stay.

Ik chose the B&B because it was not expensive. The downside is that there was nobody present. Doors open on electronics which is a bit difficult for older people like me. Good coffee available no breakfast. Nice room good bed clean. Quet area.

Property/ room was very clean and within walking distance of great restaurants, trolley, and museums. Good to have Netflix but would prefer live tv. There was some music noise from another room during night. Would definitely stay again.
