I too was scammed by this company. Here's what I did in a summary. I clicked on a link from Facebook that was about the blind date with a book. I ordered two mystery novels and one horror novel. About a month later in the mail I got a copy of Nicholas Sparks book or rather a very small version of it. And some crafting stuff like a bookmark some stickers, some little Post-It note things that are more like bookmarks that you stick on your book. Little pieces of paper basically. So I got one copy of it. I had no idea where it came from because I never ordered anything like that. Nicholas Sparks version of the last song is nowhere near mystery or a horror novel. Little to my dismay. About a week later I got two more same thing. The same exact pamphlet book as in a short version of Nicholas Sparks book titled the last song. So now I'm stuck with three of these pamphlets. Three sheets of stickers. Three bookmarks, three highlighters three pieces of string and three little post-it tags. Mark my words. I'm getting my money back because none of these are mystery or suspense. And if you ask me I didn't get the product I asked for. In fact, I didn't get the product at all. I got three romance novels and they're not even novels. They are a dumbed down version of Nicholas Sparks. Book The last song. As I said I will proceed to get my money back through my bank.

I bought 4 Blind Dates With A Book as gifts only to be sent wrapping paper and garbage I could have found at a local charity shop.... No book included! So disappointing and a complete waste of money. What garbage....

scam ordered the 'blind date with a book' and selected scifi received a few pages of a Miley Cirus movie tie in book SAMPLE - delivered in a satchel so it was crushed anyway. the items that came with it were junk

Well didn’t I just learn a lesson to check Trustpilot first with this one. The “Blind Date with a Book” that I ordered couldn’t have been much further than what I actually received! The “book” is essentially a cliff notes version of Nicholas Sparks “The Last Song”, complete with movie image as the cover page. It’s about the size of a pamphlet so I nearly threw it away with the packaging coz I didn’t realise it was *in* the packaging. I ordered a “spicy romance”…there is nothing spicy about that story (but I did love the original book). The “fun extras” look like the leftovers from my Mum’s latest crafting day. And as for “shipping from your local warehouse”…I live in Australia and it shipped from the US…despite apparently having a warehouse in Australia. Thankfully not an expensive lesson for me, but let my lesson be yours too…DON’T DO IT!!

Pretty much similar experience as what has already been written in other reviews (especially for the Blind Date with a book). As a reader, you notice that those putting together the so called book with bookish gifts are so small-minded that they cannot begin to comprehend how ashamed they should be for putting together such a product and sell it for what they did. Very clear rip off. But probably did enough research so that legally noone can do anything about it. Although I am not sure this would go with the official German customer service we have here, especially because they have cheap-copied and sold parts of a book that may still be under protection of intellectual property. But it is not worth the trouble when I see that others were unsuccesful in getting at least a refund. This company probably follows the policy of some other current cheap online shops and is probably a scam, making money with false hopes; certainly feels more than so. Advice: do not spend money on them, rather buy from certified companies.

I wish there was an option for zero stars. Sent incorrect eye corrector, they offered a refund of $2 as compensation and to keep the product. False advertising, you will not get what you ordered, stay away.

This site needs cancelling, jeez! I ordered what I thought what be a box of goodies and a book. Ended up with like one chapter of a book. Going throught paypal they went in favour of the site so I just keep appealing. But drfo avoid.

DO NOT BUY! I bought two of the so-called spicy thriller books for my daughter and her friend for their birthdays. We got a pamphlet. It’s the last song with Miley Cyrus on it. This is bullshit. Bullshit. Do not buy a bunch of damn scammers!
