I had a great experience with Susie Dod, from Destination Weddings. She was very knowledgeable and spent a lot of time helping us narrow down to the best resort for our needs. She was very patient and helpful when we decided to postpone, due to Covid. She was able to give us similar rates for the following year, and everything was seamless. I highly recommend Susie to plan your destination wedding.

Jennifer was so wonderful! She helped us plan our entire vacation and even gave us recommendations for excursions. She responded in a timely manner & was super patient with us when we decided to wait until after covid to make travel plans. Highly recommend her to anyone looking to plan a destination wedding or vacation!

Destination Weddings and Sue Allen in particular, as our primary contact, made our participation in our niece's wedding seamless and worry free. From making our initial reservations, the postponement of the wedding for one full year due to COVID, to ensuring that all was ready for our arrival and return to the USA, Sue had it all covered. She was always responsive to our several queries during the past year and most definitely earned her stripes when our return ground shuttle to the airport in Cancun was not confirmed, when United changed our flight number and time without our knowledge. Sue alerted us to the issue, and confirmed that the problem was resolved. When travelling abroad, particularly in the midst of a pandemic, it was great to know that Sue had our backs. We had a wonderful trip. The wedding was spectacular and the logistics were flawless. Thank you Sue Allen.

I cannot speak for the company as a whole, however if you are assigned Sue Allen as your wedding planner/coordinator I can guarantee you will not be disappointed. She's everything one can hope for. She's knowledgeable, always has her client's best interests in mind, very honest, and most importantly assessible basically 24/7.

We worked with Sally from Destination Weddings and she was truly my fairy Godmother! She helped us with many changes and uncertainty during the pandemic. What would’ve been 2 yrs turned to 3 and she was there every step making sure that our stay at Hotel Xcaret was taken care of. She was very patient and kind even when I would breakdown with the stress of the wedding and coordinating our guests. She always kept me up to date with the new changes and she worked until literally the last hour to make sure my guests were taken care of. I am forever grateful!

Using DW was the best decision I made for my wedding. We started planning in May 2020, and even though we were right in the middle of the pandemic, my two specialists (Natalie B and Stephanie M.) made my process so seamless and easy. In our very first conversation I told them what we were looking for and what kind of vibe we wanted, and they quickly got back to me with many options to choose from, including packages and pricing. I had a little difficulty getting in contact with the resort we chose, and Natalie + Stephanie kept reaching out on my behalf to keep the resort in communication with me. After everything was booked with the resort, these ladies did an amazing job getting in touch with my guests and answering everyone's questions and helping everyone get booked. I honestly wouldn't change anything about my experience with them. If you're on the fence between two different companies, this is who you need to go with!
