In December of 2024, we booked a our Same Sex wedding through Destination weddings. We decided this company, as my niece who was married in 2021 also chose this company as they made us feel comfortable, welcomed and celebrated. When we initially booked, we discovered that we actually got the same travel planner as her, Ms. Amy Boyce. Through alot of decision making and changes, Amy was there every step. She also helped people several times with transfer vouchers, understanding room requirements, etc.We originally had 34 total people. We decided to book at the Majestic Elegance Punta Cana, as she was familiar with very much. Being that the rapport was good, we trusted Amy with all the details. Turning to last week, we celebrated our same sex wedding, with family who have never traveled internationally before in one of the most beautiful places. Without Any, this would have a been a huge struggle to handle by ourselves with international requirements, passport guidelines, transfers, insurances,etc. There were some hiccups along the way, but we're fixed. My only downfall with DW, not Amy herself, was there was a promo established approx in January 2026 where if you met a certain number of qualified bookings, you received a Free party boat package. Unfortunately after several attempts, DW did not allow me to enjoy this as I already had booked ..in December of 2024. Although I understand limitations, this would have been a great addition. I did end up booking one myself. DW does want you to enjoy YOUR day and will do things to prevent anything from going wrong, and making it right when it does.Amy is knowledgeable and is definitely the go to person! Patsy was such a professional and went above and beyond to help us bring our daughter’s wedding vision to fruition. From day one of the planning, all the way through she has been a real treasure! Andrea Coots was absolutely amazing in helping my husband and I plan our destination wedding! We truly could not have done it with out her. We had in total 51 guests come and she helped organize all of their travel, including finding the beautiful resort in the first place. We had the most perfect trip and wedding thanks in large part to her effort! All of our guests had such a great experience too and said she was such a huge help with their travels as well! I would absolutely recommend her to anyone planning a destination wedding of course or even just planning a trip in general!

Andrea Coots was a rockstar. A DW professional!! I would specifically recommend working with her with Destination Weddings! She was amazing at all of the organization and logistics and kept us on track. Also, as someone who had experienced lots of different weddings, I felt comfortable to be honest and transparent to Andrea about what’s going on and she helped us through every issue - small or large. The booking process was simple and all of our guests had no issue with their rooms or reservations when they arrived for the wedding! Destination Weddings helped our dream came true and I’m so happy we chose DW to help plan our special event. We are also considering reaching out to her for future travel. In a word, our trip was: magical! El Mangroove was everything we wanted but didn’t know existed… until Sue Allen of Destination Wedddings found it for us! After years of stumbling thru vacation “planning” on the usual DIY sites (kayak etc)… we now see what an amazing difference working with a true travel professional can make!

Patsy has been nothing short of amazing! I filled out the information 3 days after getting engaged back in October 2025 and once she called me, it was like Love at first sight! We clicked instantly and starting referring to each other as best friend lol! She felt like home and has been the best since our first hello! Patsy, we couldn’t imagine planning our special day without you! The knowledge you have and willingness to go above and beyond has truly awed my entire wedding party including guest!
