I ordered some glasses from DF. The frames had been discontinued but the sales rep told me they had them "In Stock". No Problem. So- I placed my order. A month later- no frames. I emailed to ask about my order. Response was- Oh! We tried to call and couldn't get ahold of you. The frame was out of stock. No voicemail. No Email. No text. I wasted a whole month waiting for my new Rx. I'd rate them a 0 score if that was an option.

I tried contacting Designer Frames Outlet to order some tinted lenses. However, the same message plays constantly, "Due to staffing issues we are unable to take your call". We simply do not believe the message is in any way truthful. This (same) message has been playing for over a year. In addition, the recording states to contact customer service via email which we did. Once we sent the message to the above email, the message 'bounced'. This is a fictitious company most likely comprised of snakes. *We would not recommend this business to anyone, not any.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! THERE ARE MUCH BETTER OPTIONS OUT THERE! I don't even typically write negative reviews, but this one is deserving. I wish I was aware of the warnings on reddit and BBB prior to purchasing. I didn't come across them until after the fact. This was hands down the worst experience I've ever had in my 30 years of wearing glasses. Dealing with Designer Frames Outlet (DFO) was so frustrating that it actually convinced me to consider Lasik! I’ve always replaced my glasses like clockwork every two years, and this year was no different. I found a pair of frames I liked online and decided to go ahead with them. I searched for companies to make and install the lenses, and unfortunately, I came across Designer Frames Outlet offering this service. I paid extra for overnight shipping at checkout, only to be blindsided by the fact that DFO's provided shipping label used the slowest possible mail option. Despite mailing my frames out the same day, they didn’t even receive them for over a week! Once my frames FINALLY arrived at their facility, I received an abrupt notification that they wouldn’t complete my order because my prescription was expired. Expired? I replace my glasses every two years on the dot and have never run into this issue. When I checked, I saw that this particular prescription had an expiration date of one year instead of the two I’ve been accustomed to for my entire life, even though the law regarding this states that eyeglass prescriptions are typically valid for two years and contact lenses for one. After a rude exchange with someone named "Amanda," I requested my frames back and a refund for the lens cost. Almost two weeks later, I FINALLY received my frames back. After nearly a month of dealing with this whole ordeal, I still haven't received my refund till this day. My emails about it have been completely ignored. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone, especially if you need your glasses urgently. There are far better options out there! I’ve since confirmed with my optometrist that the one-year limit on my prescription was just an error—no medical reason whatsoever. It's been corrected, and I’ve moved on, but I STILL WANT MY REFUND!!!

Purchased a pair of Coach frames with no prescription, which took over a month to receive. Once I finally received them, they weren’t the glasses that I ordered. Second, the Coach stage coach logo looked glued on rather than being incorporated into the frame, and the flexible hinges made a loud clicking sound every time you opened the glasses to put them on. Finally, the quality of the glasses felt like cheap plastic NOTHING like my other Coach glasses.

I ordered their most expensive lenses with all their add-ons I packed my frames very carefully because they're very expensive when I received my glasses back they were just thrown in the Box and they were all distorted so I had to go to LensCrafters to have them fix the frames then when I go to use the glasses there is such a glare that I cannot see my computer screen in front of me I wish there was a way to send the photo so you could all see as I deal with customer service I reduced all the premium upgrades to get this fixed just so I could see and they said it would be an extra charge I would avoid this company if at all possible as many places out there that do this service I did have a good experience buying frames but I don't recommend getting lenses here

They are horrible, horrible horrible company. They do not communicate. They said they delivered something and they showed me a label. They created a copy of a label, never sent the email stating that it was delivered . Never asked for any information to confirm my product was delivered, so it must’ve has been stolen and I’m out of $200 they don’t return emails. They don’t return calls back. They are pathetic A— company. customer service is just ridiculously horrible! Buyer beware do not purchase anything from the store because if it gets misplaced or stolen, you’re just out of your money because they’re not gonna help you not one bit , never buy anything from them ever again!!!!
