I tried to email this company to explain what type of lenses I needed when I ordered. The company didn't respond for a week. I tried to cancel however they confirmed that their lenses were comparable to what I needed. In NO way were these lenses quality lenses. My doctor couldn't believe the lack of quality. I could not see out of them. I returned them and waited an additional two weeks from what is stated on their website for a refund in which they deducted over $100. DO NOT BUT FROM THIS COMPANY! BBB has a ton of complaints about them. Wish I read those first.

They made the lenses so poorly on my glasses I had to raise my head to see. After waiting days for a response to my email, I was told to sending the glasses back and now they are not refunding the entire purchase. The only way to contact them is email or chat and it takes days to hear back DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY PURCHASING GLASSES FROM DESIGNER FRAMES. THERE ARE PLENTY OF OTHER ONLINE SITES.

it's been over a month and my order has not arrived, no one has bothered to keep me posted or answered my emails. terrible customer service., don't waste your time.

COM , I TRIED TO ORDER JIMMY CHOO DESIGNER FRAMES WITH PRESCRIPTIONS TWO DIFFERENT TIMES, THANK GOODNESS I WAS SMART ENOUGH TO USE MY PAY PAL ACCOUNT WITH BOTH ORDERS, BECAUSE, SEEING ALL OF THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS NOW I DON'T THINK I WOULD HAVE GOTTEN MY $400. REFUNDED WITHOUT PAYPAL. THEY DO NOT REPLY OR ANSWER ANY CORRESPONDENCE AT ALL, EITHER VIA EMAIL OR PHONES. THEY ARE RIDICULOUSLY BAD AT BUSINESS IN GENERAL, BUYER HAS BEEN FOREWARNED, YOU WILL ONLY BE RIPPED OFF.

Look at BBB complaints! No customer service number--slow (if any) email response. Took a month to get glasses--wrong frame. After glasses returned they cancelled order. Lost my trust and respect.

I ordered a pair of eyeglasses and have made multiple attempts at initiating a return. I followed the process, per their invoice instructions and emailed the address listed and have yet to receive a response. I've also messaged them through their website and was told I would get a response in 8 hours....NOTHING. I also called the telephone number listed for them on BBB site - 877-343-3554 - always have to leave a voice mail and no one responds. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY.

Ordered a pair of prescription glasses (with frames that were shown as "in stock" on the website) and paid for expedited shipping. Seven days after placing the order, I received an email indicating that the frames had been ordered from the manufacturer and were scheduled to arrive in another 5-7 days (indicating that they were not in stock as originally indicated), at which time they would be "placed in the queue to have the lenses installed). Upon further investigation, it appears that none of the frames advertised on the website are in stock, as the company doesn't actually maintain a physical inventory (fraudulent misrepresentation #1). The estimated delivery of the order is now ~4 weeks from the date of the order, which hardly meets any reasonable definition of "expedited delivery" -- for I paid an additional fee (fraudulent misrepresentation #2). I have attempted on at least 2 dozen separate occasions to contact the company via the online chat feature on their website; however, on each attempt, the chat window displays a message indicating "We're not around, but we'd love to chat at another time", leaving one to reach the rather obvious conclusion that the chat feature (like the inventory) doesn't actually exist (fraudulent misrepresentation #3). Finally, I've submitted two formal inquiries via the e-mail inquiry page on the website and have not received a reply to either inquiry. This website is at best one of the most poorly run online retail operations I've encountered and, at worst, a frank scam.

There is no working phone number for this company - the 2 phone #s found online just ring & ring. The chat box on the site never had anyone available when I went on. I tried to purchase a pair of sunglasses, & never received a confirmation email. I had to write to customer service on their website THREE times before finally receiving a reply, even though each time I messaged customer service it said they would get back within 8 business hours. They didn't. In my last message, I said I would contact my bank & report them for fraud if I didn't hear back from them. So finally they replied & told me they cancelled my order - not what I asked for. I reported them for Fraud anyway just to be safe & did receive a cancellation. My bank rep thought they were a fraudulent company - he even tried calling the 2 phone numbers listed & got no reply with me on the phone. Lo and behold, the sunglasses I had wanted to purchase were taken off the site. I think they use decoys to lure people into thinking they have all of these designer sunglasses when they really don't even have them in stock. I have email messages & screen shots to prove all of this. Designer Frames Outlet is a SHADY company - beware!
