PLATFORM DOES NOT ALLOW LAB ORDERS. You'll pay your copay and get what appears to be a pre-scripted short message suppossedly from the MD. Except, a real MD can order labwork. This platform will then tell you to see an in-person provider to order labs, upload the results for their MD, then make another appointment with them as waiting for that in-person visit, labs, and then the lab results, is often over a month. So... I can pay my copay 3 times including an in-person visit, or pay once and just go in-person. What is even the point of this service?

First thing I see on the website is the United Healthcare logo I think "oh that's awesome. I dont have to wait like a year just to get an appointment." Wrong. Instead of telling me before i get seen that my insurance doesnt cover it 6 months later they send me a bill for $720 saying my insurance doesnt cover it. Come to find out only PPO covers it. After fighting with both my insurance company and dermatology on call I was able to get it appealed and am STILL getting bills from them. The doctor had also gave me accutane which didnt help my folliculitis. Come to find out it just aggravated it. I just started changing my pillow cover every day and uses head and shoulders and it was gone. Will never use this again. If you have UHC just make sure they'll actually cover it instead of believing their false advertising.

The service is a joke. Don't bother, go in person. I thought it was actually a teleservice. You send them a picture and then text back and forth on their email platform. Useless diagnosis. You're better off asking an AI platform

We were told we could continue seeing the same dermatologist through this system. It is awful, we couldn't find him at first had to see someone new. Then the next time we found him - he acted like he hadn't seen us in the office for a full year - then he sent us for bloodwork whereby we took off time from work/school and they didn't have the order. There was never a resolution and now they say oh you have to pay another $95 to speak with him for him to send a "new" order. The order IS NOT NEW....the one that was supposed to be sent was never sent and because their system does not allow you to reach out ( they have to message you first) there was no way to contact them.

I am deeply disappointed by the quality and safety of care I received through this platform. I consulted with two different dermatologists for hyperpigmentation and clearly stated in my intake forms that I am actively trying to conceive and undergoing IVF treatment. Despite this critical information, the first dermatologist recommended oral antibiotics and topical antibiotics for a condition I explicitly noted was not active acne, but residual post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. This recommendation was inappropriate, excessive, and poorly aligned with both my clinical presentation and reproductive goals. I then sought a second opinion through the same platform, only to be prescribed a compounded cream containing tretinoin and hydroquinone, again despite my documented TTC/IVF status. When I followed up to clarify whether tretinoin is appropriate while trying to conceive, the response narrowly stated that tretinoin is contraindicated “when pregnant,” failing to address peri-conception exposure, early unrecognized pregnancy, or risk–benefit judgment for a non-urgent cosmetic condition. Taken together, these experiences raise serious concerns about whether patient intake information is being meaningfully reviewed before prescriptions are issued, and whether care is being delivered via protocol rather than individualized clinical judgment. Patients, especially those navigating fertility treatment, should not have to repeatedly protect themselves from inappropriate or poorly considered prescriptions. I would strongly caution anyone who is trying to conceive or who requires nuanced medical decision-making to proceed very carefully and to question recommendations thoroughly before filling any prescriptions from this service.

I needed to have a suspicious skin lesion checked for melanoma, and i have "biopsy fatigue" after having 30 or so lesions cut off me over the years (all negative). A couple years ago I found a local dermatologist that introduced me to "Dermtech", a non invasive (no cutting) dna test for melanoma in skin lesions. Alas, he left the city and the practice told me that Dermtech was no longer in business. They certainly are very much still in business, and after speaking with them they directed me to dermatologistoncall. I sent high res photos of the suspicious lesion, and Dr. B agreed that further testing was warranted. They set me up to receive a Dermtech test (arrived in 2 days), I then had a zoom call with their staff to oversee that the test was properly administered. I sent it back on Tuesday morning, and Friday morning Dr. B had left me a message with the results (negative, yeah!!). I would use them again without hesitation. And BTW, the local dermatologist wouldn't schedule me before 4 months - for suspected skin cancer that moves fast!!

Took my $90 for the doctors diagnosis to be my son should be seen by a local dermatologist, this after I told them my son was seen by local dermatologist with no improvement. Maybe it was just the dr I picked so definitely stay away from Roberto Belli MD on that platform.
