I sought out and visited Full Function Chiropractic after a back injury, and attended for several sessions. I asked about the insurance coverage, and was told that my insurance would cover the sessions, and that the deductible I paid at time of service would be the only out-of-pocket payments required. After a few sessions, I was told that I’d require a lot more sessions for full treatment, and that a medium-term schedule with much higher frequency was recommended. As I did not see noticeable benefit from the sessions thus far and felt that this was not necessary, I politely declined. Weeks after this, I received bills in the mail with threat of collection if I didn’t pay - directly in conflict with the earlier assertions that my deductible was only payment required. Contacted FFC, told them I felt this was dishonest and in conflict with what I had been assured. They offered me a payment plan - no thanks, pal. If you can’t honor your word, we’re done here.
