DekoorlightReviews of dekoorlight.com

I ordered their ‘Swinton Chandelier’ expecting, due to the price for it, to turn up constructed. It turned up in bits I had to put the whole thing together with no instructions from China! At NO time did they highlight when I was buying this item, that I would have to assemble this chandelier myself! Terrible absolutely terrible! I wouldn’t recommend the light, the website or the company. The ‘legs’ that the ‘candles’ sit on, don’t lock in place and move if you are trying to lift it and hang it from the ceiling and the ‘candles’ are just cheap plastic! The light bulbs are cheap LED bulbs that aren’t even characterful!

Ordered a floor lamp for $780 + a "worry-free" insurance policy through Seel for $14.95 on the Dekoor Lighting website. The package and lamp were damaged in shipping. The heavy base and hardware were also missing as there was a huge hole in the end of box. Dekoor refused to file a claim with FedEx, and refused to get the package or refund my money. Seel refused my damage claim also.

Total scam, do not buy from this site. PayPal was a total scam too, they will not help you. The lamp I purchased was completely different than what was pictured on the website… I disputed it and I still ended up paying the full amount and never even received the lamp. PayPal is 1000% to blame, the evidence was very clear and they did nothing. What a terrible greedy, inhuman, low life company.

I ordered a product advertised as a genuine Akari A1 light, but after receiving the item, I realized it was not authentic. When I contacted the seller, they admitted in writing that the fixture was “designed by their own team,” confirming it was not an official Akari product. This is a clear case of false advertising. When I requested a return, they refused to cover return shipping—even though the product was misrepresented, not simply unwanted. I was offered partial refunds to keep the item, which I declined. Only after I filed a dispute with my credit card company did they begin to respond more attentively, but they still refused to take full responsibility. I find their handling of this matter to be deceptive and unprofessional. They delayed meaningful engagement until a financial dispute was filed and continued to insist the product was acceptable despite acknowledging that it was not what was advertised. I am leaving this review to warn others: be cautious when buying from this company, especially if you’re looking for authentic designer items. They misrepresent their products and make the return process intentionally difficult.

Do not buy from this company unless you want to take a gamble. I ordered a light that took a long time to arrive- that’s when I realized it was being shipped from overseas. Once it arrived, it was damaged in multiple areas. Not only was the electrical broken but the base itself was cracked like a smashed eggshell. The company has completely outsourced the refund process to a third party and it is “out of their hands”. Why should that be the consumer’s problem? I have exchanged countless emails, sent photos, etc. It should be a slam dunk refund. The lamp is beyond repair. There’s one nice woman on the customer service side but nothing gets done. I read another review that this is a fraudulent company. I wouldn’t be surprised. Now I will go to my credit card.

This is a fraudulent company. The website is fake and there are no products being shipped from anywhere I have received a lot of garbled emails from them with absolutely no integrity and have yet to get a straight answer from them I have contacted my cc company to open an investigation and refund me.
