I had a WONDERFUL experience with DEBTSTOPPERS. They were very professional with affordable payment options.

I was able to do a loan modification on my home. The mortgage company forwarded papers to DebtStoppers to complete and return to them in order for me to be approved. These papers were FedEx to DebtStoppers three occasions they were signed for by an employee at DebtStoppers but yet the papers never made it to where they're supposed to go to the person who was responsible for my chapter 13. It took four times of sending papers to to DebtStoppers for this to be completed. I was constantly in tears because I could not get the answers that I needed to get my loan modification taking care of it went all the way up to a week before I was to be cancelled and would have to start the process all over again in order to be approved. I finally had to call someone higher up to get this taken care of. Even though I had a name we had the signature that the papers were received they constantly denied that they had received them . When I first called DebtStoppers to ask questions about filing a Chapter 13 they call me back constantly they were always on it once they got my money and the case was sent to court they were no longer as responsive to my questions. Now at the end of my chapter 13 I finally got a person that really responded or returned my emails or return my calls this is the only person that actually helped me at DebtStoppers after my case was filed. I was informed by the mortgage company that this is not unusual for DebtStoppers that it always happens with them and they could not understand why.

Need to be better and responding to clients needs. Very hard time getting someone to respond to your questions after you filed. Left messages but no one responds in a timely manner. I finally started just communicating through e -mail even though it's not the fastest way but I did get my questions answered this way.

I have a lawyer to look over my chapter 13 case. It was a total waste of money and time.. I am not satisfied at all.. my lawyer will be in contact with you all very soon

The communication was not the best nor getting back to you when the bankruptcy was over to see what was discharged and what was not. I still have not heard anything and I've been out since August. The overall experience went quickly and you are notified by mail of your court date, when you show up to court your representative will call your name take you in the hall and ask you some questions and give you directions before your name is called. The only thing is I worked with so many people that I had no idea who was my attorney. I think that you should have one person that helps you from start to finish. They get the job done and quickly but there is a big gap in communication at least for me it was.
