Absolutely appalling customer service! I was a member here and was removed for asking a basic question about them even being able to provide necessary manpower to facilitate performance on the products they offer. How dare they be questioned!
I’m so glad I found out how they behave before I chose to invest any capitol with them.

Mastermind.com
Mastermind.com, Dean Graziosi, and Tony Robbins "scam" tool, its an aggressive marketing pipeline, high-ticket upsells, and controversial deceptive.
1. The "$1 Charity" or "Free Summit" Bait-and-Switch
entry-level events, such as the "Thrive" virtual summits.
The Hook: Users are invited to a free event or asked to pay a nominal $1 fee, which is often advertised as a donation to a charity like Feeding America.
The Fine Print: When entering credit card details for the $1 charge, users are automatically opted into a hidden monthly subscription to Mastermind.com (usually $47 to $97 per month) after a brief "trial" period.
The Result: Thousands of users report discovering hundreds of dollars in unauthorized charges months later, having never actively logged into or used the platform.
2. Aggressive Upselling and High-Ticket "Systems"
Mastermind.com is heavily criticized for functioning less like an educational resource and more like a high-pressure sales funnel.
The Hype: The marketing promises to teach you how to "monetize what you know" or turn your life experience into a lucrative course.
The Reality: The basic subscription provides very limited features (such as a cap on live attendees). To actually get the "proven system" or the one-on-one help promised in the videos, users are immediately funneled toward "Inner Circle" memberships, "Business Systems," or intensive weekend masterminds that cost anywhere from $1,000 to over $10,000.
3. The "Fake Guru" Loophole
Critics and consumer advocates often point out that the business model being sold is inherently circular:
You pay Dean Graziosi and Tony Robbins thousands of dollars to learn how to sell a course.
The primary strategy taught often boils down to building your own high-pressure marketing funnels to sell your knowledge to someone else.
For beginners without an existing audience, email list, or established expertise, the software is largely useless, leaving them with heavy credit card debt and no viable business.
4. Administrative Friction & Customer Complaints
On consumer watchdog sites like the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and Trustpilot, negative reviews heavily highlight structural friction designed to keep your money:
Hidden Cancellation Obstacles: Users frequently complain that the "cancel" button is intentionally buried or that the system "glitches" when trying to terminate a subscription.
Refund Resistance: While they advertise money-back guarantees, customer service often pushes back, offering partial refunds or trying to downsell the user into a different tier rather than returning the full amount.
Summary: Is it a Scam?
Legally, no. It is a functioning website builder and community platform similar to Kajabi or Teachable.
Practically and ethically, it employs classic "contrepreneur" tactics. It utilizes negative-option billing (auto-renewals hidden behind low-cost entry points), hyper-emotional marketing, and predatory upsells targeted at individuals looking for financial freedom. If you do not already have a massive audience and a specific product to host, entering this funnel is widely considered a highly expensive risk.

Greedy & Sleazy
Dean is a glorified snake oil salesman. I purchased a program I never used and requested my money back. Despite the fact that I was sleeping in my car at the time, Dean (whose net worth is around $50 million) figured he needed that $1,000 more than I did. Nothing but stonewalling. No magnanimity or understanding. He (and Tony) are out to take as much as energy from people as they possibly can.
Response from Mastermind.comJun 13, 2026
Dear Jabril,
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We are truly sorry to hear that you remain disappointed with your experience.
After receiving your review, we conducted an additional review of your account and prior communications with our team. Our records show that the purchase in question was made in August 2023 and that your refund request was submitted in December 2024, well after the applicable refund period had passed. At that time, your request was carefully reviewed, and our team communicated the outcome based on the terms associated with the purchase.
We understand that financial hardships can be incredibly challenging, and we are sorry to hear about the difficulties you described. While we recognize that this situation has been frustrating, our review confirmed that your request was handled appropriately and in accordance with our policies.
We appreciate you taking the time to share your perspective and wish you the very best moving forward.
Sincerely,
The Mastermind Team

Cancelling subscription: A Warning
I signed up to MM a year ago. After a while I realised that the product does not offer what I needed. I was happy to take it on the chin that I misunderstood (even though I felt sure it had been mentioned in the sales pitch).
When the anniversary was approaching, I went into the system and cancelled my subscription.
I clicked on every button that asked, "are you sure" YES, "Do you want to speak to someone?" NO! Just go ahead and cancel. Done.
Or so I thought.
The anniversary rolled around and I notice that our bank account had been charged $1400AUD. I logged into MM to see that the subscription had not cancelled at all, and that there is a notice that my next renewal date is May 2027.
I attempted to cancel again, following the same process from two months earlier, clicked on the “no, I don’t want to talk to someone, please go ahead and cancel” and despite receiving a confirmation (not in an email of course, just a pop up window) the subscription was not cancelled.
You actually do need to speak to someone (as they want to talk you into retaining your membership).
I received the refund – minus the bank fee to convert the AUD to USD – and they’ve asked me to update my review to say that I this has been done.
I will not change my rating and sing their praises for refunding me. I shouldn’t have to waste my valuable time chasing this up, when I had cancelled.
I stand by my original statement that this is highly unethical.
If you sign up to MM and decide to cancel, you will need to email them to make sure that they follow through on it, otherwise, you will be charged.

Feedback regarding the cancellation process is taken seriously, and we have shared your concerns with our leadership team for review. We are continually looking for ways to improve our member experience, and appreciate you taking the time to provide your perspective.
We wish you all the best moving forward.

They sent me a email marked as URGENT
They sent me a email marked as URGENT, it was just a A.I slop marketing email, not urgent at all.
I get a lot of emails from this company, averting 1, 2 or more every day. I don’t mind that, I signed up to their mailing list at some point.
What I object to is seeing [URGENT] among my notifications, clicking on the email and finding out that it is just Marketing Slop.
I suggest that this company refrains from marking emails as URGENT.
They have lost me with this low effort/intrusive Marketing tactic.
Response from Mastermind.comApr 30, 2026

To address this immediately, we have reached out on Trustpilot requesting your details so we can personally ensure your email is fully removed from all communication lists. Once we receive that information, we will take care of the matter promptly and verify that the issue is fully resolved.

Be very very careful when signing up!!
Be very very careful when signing up!!!
Like many others I’ve messaged multiple times to support at MM to stop payments coming out of my account but all I’ve received is automated AI responses and no further genuine customer service or interaction with an actual human which is unacceptable from a company that prides itself on helping people.
I’m very disappointed as I messaged over a year ago and told them I wanted a refund which they issued and then found they’d started charging me again! I would appreciate a proper answer to this review rather that the copy and paste answers I see to other people’s reviews.
There is no clear process for managing or cancelling subscriptions which is something that needs to be addressed considering the amount of people leaving reviews with the same issue. Please do better!

scammers
Have just discovered that since attending a free webinar last summer i've been paying $45 dollars a month for a service i don't use. I did not agree to this.
Response from Mastermind.comApr 20, 2026
Dear Mia,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with our team. We completely understand how concerning and frustrating it can feel to notice charges on your account that you weren’t expecting.
According to our records, your registration for the 2025 Time to Thrive event included the optional VIP Success system access offer that began with a $1 trial, followed by a monthly membership after the 30-day trial period. These details were presented during the sign-up process. That said, we absolutely understand that these types of details can sometimes be easy to miss, and we’re more than happy to take the time to review everything with you.
After reviewing your account, we can confirm that your monthly membership was cancelled on April 19th, and you will continue to have access through the end of your current billing cycle on May 13th. Our team would be glad to take a closer look at your account with you, walk through the billing history, and see what options may be available. Please feel free to reach out to us at [email protected] using the email address you used to register your monthly membership with so we can assist you directly.
Thank you again for sharing your concerns with us, Mia. We truly appreciate the opportunity to look into this for you and look forward to helping resolve this with you.
Sincerely,
The Mastermind Team
