I ordered glasses on 4/21. It’s now 5/12 and they state they are still in production. Customer Service says a stylist sent an email requesting a picture of me wearing frames. There was no email though. I can’t tell if I’ve fallen into a fraudulent website or if this is normal. The glasses were super expensive and I would expect a quicker turnaround. This seems phishy. Just now reading reviews about the company. Should have done that first. I hope I get my glasses soon. Hanging onto a prayer.

Online only presence for purchase of high quality frames - the frames themselves appear to be good quality and shipping for home try on is fast. That is the good. The bad: The website says they will file an out of network claim with listed providers. This played a role in my selection of their business. After picking out frames, I was told that no, they do not provide this service and I will have to do it myself. I was also told they are in the process of updating their website. It's been three weeks and I still see that they are falsely claiming that they will file the claim for you on their website. They also advertise that you will have your glasses within two weeks. This was the timeframe I was given. It's been over three weeks and they haven't even started on production of the lenses. Multiple inquiries about the status of my 400 dollar order to customer service go unanswered. Currently weighing if I should cut my losses and cancel the order to go with a local optician given that the company seems to care very little about service and integrity after capturing your money.

I wish I had better understanding on what is going on with David Kind! I absolutely love the look and feel of both pairs (Finn and Roman) I’ve purchased over the past few years… but something has changed with customer service and responsiveness within the last year! The temple on Finn unexpectedly broke one morning and I inquired after warranty (advertised as 10 yr) or repair. Roman could use a tune up too. I received a response saying that they are no longer doing refurbishing/tuneups, but could send me a replacement temple piece for $50. I said yes please and asked for more details on what the warranty actually covers…. And no response. I’ve emailed several times since and have received no reply. Genuinely confused as to what is going on! There is nothing on their website saying to expect delays in response, or that they are short staffed, or closing the business. I was hoping for this to be my last stop for eyewear, and am actually quite disappointed that seems to not be possible at this point.

My prescription is incorrect and customer service has yet to reply.

It took almost two months to receive my glasses. I emailed customer service around 10 times during that time, and only received 2-3 responses, and those only after several days. I never received confirmation emails or updates without asking several times. When the glasses arrived, they were extremely low quality—I’ve paid $20 for better glasses. I returned them, following the companies instructions, but have yet to receive my refund or any email update. In fact, the survey is the first automated message I’ve received from the company since I placed my order. Absolutely atrocious customer service.

I’m convinced this is a scam. I placed an order over a month ago. When I checked out, they said someone would be in touch to get my prescription. No one did. I emailed several times and it still took weeks to get a reply. They said my information was incomplete, so I provided the info they requested, then crickets again. After a few weeks, I emailed asking for a refund and they said my glasses were shipping and I’d receive a tracking number. I never received a tracking number or any update, and my request for a refund was completely ignored. Don’t do business with these people.

Was sent defective glasses and the solution was to bring to a optician to fix. Customer service took days to respond and my insurance claim request was never processed.
