We contracted DataCaptive to manage an email marketing campaign, and unfortunately the experience fell well short of our expectations. The project started behind schedule, and when the first campaign finally launched it contained numerous technical issues that a company with DataCaptive's experience should have identified and prevented before sending. The inbox they configured was quickly flooded with spam responses generated by their own email warm-up process, making it difficult to distinguish legitimate activity. Before signing, we were quoted an expected response rate of around 4%. In reality, we did not receive a single genuine response from the campaign. This has left us questioning the quality and accuracy of the email lists they provided. Communication was another ongoing challenge. Responses were often slow, and it frequently felt like we were being strung along rather than receiving clear answers or timely solutions. Throughout the engagement, our primary point of contact changed multiple times, making it difficult to build continuity or confidence in the project. When we raised our concerns, DataCaptive promised to make things right with a fresh campaign. Unfortunately, it appeared to be more of the same process without meaningful improvements or acknowledgment of the underlying issues. Overall, our experience was disappointing. Between the delayed launch, technical mistakes, poor communication, lack of results, and concerns about the quality of the contact data, we cannot recommend DataCaptive based on our experience.

Hi Donny, Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback. We take it seriously and want to respond to each point directly. On the response rate: outbound campaign performance depends on a number of factors outside any vendor's direct control, including market conditions, how the audience responds to the offering, and how it's positioned. The figure discussed at the outset was an estimate based on industry benchmarks, not a guarantee, and we're glad to walk through the campaign data together to look at what may have shaped the results here. On the delays and point-of-contact changes: we recognize these created friction along the way, and we don't take that lightly. Throughout the engagement, our team stayed committed to the campaign's success, expanding well beyond the original scope of 1 Cold Email Campaign and 3 mini drip sequences to a total of 11 sequences across 5 months, at no additional cost, to give the campaign every opportunity to perform. We'd welcome the chance to go through everything in detail. Our Customer Experience Team will be reaching out directly to continue the conversation. Regards, Team Customer Experience | DataCaptive Inc
