Darwin's Natural Pet ProductsReviews of darwinspet.com

You are pricing the product beyond being reasonably purchasable by retirees like me. Fot this reason I cancelled my subscription and am transitioning my dog to another quality but less expensive raw product

Darwins products are always 5 star for me and my pets! and after years of shipments with no troubles - for some reason this time around something went wrong. It wasn't delivered on the delivery date because the drivers note said "no one was there to receive it".???? the shipping note of over 7 yrs says to slip behind gate. When I called the next day to see if it would be delivered, the note the driver left the company was that the "road was closed" NO IT WAS NOT! half of the shipment was 90% thawed the rest about 50%. What happened? It has always been left behind the fence/gate...and to say the road was shut down? Nope. outright incorrect. There were no road closures. I live on a ranch, and have always had it left at the gate for over 7 years. Is there a new shipper?? I suspect they just didn't want to drive out of town to our address...... :(

The product is great, but I don’t think it can be a long-term solution for us. I need to explore more cost-effective options for our two cats.

I continue to have delivery issues where the 2 day delivery ends up taking 4-5 days. I thought Darwin had resolved the issue by putting a note on my account to guarantee shipping on a Monday instead of a Wednesday. However the last 2 shipments have arrived thawed. Last time I talked to customer service they said 2 day shipping is guaranteed. But that is not true in rural Idaho.

I was unhappy with my last delivery because I didn't receive a notification that it had been delivered. It was 104 degrees out and luckily I saw it before it completely thawed out. Otherwise, I would be giving you five stars.

I have fed my dogs Darwins for about 10 years. The quality of the food is good. The issues i have had have been with billing and shipping. I had my account charged times once and it took about a week to get my money back. Shipping is usually fine but they recycle boxes long past their lifespan to a degree thar compromises the temperature of the food. I have had issues with the quality of the packaging from time to time where the seal is broken and the food shows up freezer burned. Over all I think it is a good product but the business side of things needs some work.

The meat that was still frozen was great. But the boxes y’all use now are terrible! They always arrive crushed and broken, so some sheets of meat are thawed. Over the last several shipments, UPS has had to retape the boxes every time. And this last time UPS had to put your broken boxes inside UPS boxes and tape them up. Thanks, and here’s to new and better boxes.

Food is great. Consistent issues with shipping. I have a shipping note and a physical note on my door directing them to deliver at a side door which they constantly ignore. It’s very frustrating
