Nice Carpet from Good People
The carpet is cushy and nice. The installers were great. They laid the whole house in one day that was amazing! (They stayed 14.5 hours until it was done.) I do wish they'd left some big scrap pieces. We have none. And I'm still looking for different items they tucked away in strange places. Example: I have yet to find a rubber mat that I used under my mop steam cleaner. Our salesman Paul was friendly and helpful. The finance manager is very helpful, prompt and she resolves issues very quickly!

All great with exception to floor installer putting is gluey tool in my VERY NEW sink to soak. He did not ask and I'm having trouble getting the glue out!!!!!
Other than above mentioned, treatment and installation went great. My floor looks awesome. I enjoyed working with Melanie Giffen.

Good experience on short notice
The consultant was excellent and accommodating, given we were coordinating replacing a waterbed mattress and carpet. They were able to do our install on short notice with our first choice of carpet. The installers did a great job on installing the carpet and moving furniture, except the headboard which should have been taken apart some, in not doing that the pieces torqued and broke the glass and scratched the wood. We knew the headboard was heavy and discussed its handling with the consultant, but the installers did not seem aware of that, having a third person along may have avoided this situation.

Casey Jo was wonderful
The stair refinishing was terrible. I told them the stain was too light and they insisted it would darken. They rushed through and left before I saw the result. The power sanding left dust throughout. You should not use that contractor again. The vast majority was excellent. If I ever go back to work I would try to steal Casey.

Worth the Price for the Great Service
We had a great experience with Dalton Carpet. Originally, we started to purchase flooring from Lowes/HomeDepot and hire an independent contractor, because we thought it would be less expensive. But we got such good service and a great deal from Dalton that we were pleased we went with them. Unfortunately, we didn't get the same quality of service the second time we hired them for a job. The contractors they sent to do the job, didn't have the same level of quality that the ones who did the first job did. If we have flooring work to do again we will look into specifying which craftsmen they send out to do the work.
