Dachman AudioReviews of dachmanaudio.com

Great Mic. A close second to the U87. A nice flat response with a little high end.

Excellent communication and delivery. And the U47 is outstanding!

Truly a quality product and a good value. Super fast shipping. Great sounding microphone at a great price.

The microphone itself is very good, warm and smooth and well-made. The reason I held back one star is pertains to shipping and documentation. For some days after I had ordered and paid, Shop only reported my order as "processing" without a ship date. On contacting Dachman, they indicated that there was a backlog at the factory, and that it would ship soon, which it did. Secondly, the microphone arrived in a nice wooden storage case, which is great, but the rather beefy shock mount hardware has to be stored elsewhere because it doesn't fit in the box. A larger box to contain everything would be helpful. And finally, the microphone arrived without any paperwork. Normally a beautiful piece of hardware like this includes a warranty card, a serial # and a spec sheet with the EQ response curve. I contacted the company again and they replied that most people throw this information away so they don't include it. I normally keep it and use it.

Great mics! Great Value!

After trying the fet47, I had to get the U87 as well. They both feel, look and sound fantastic. Great handling and communication too.

Best mic I ever owned.

Great product, great price, beautifully built and packaged
