I own a U87ai, and I know the difference between an 87ai and 87i. But when I did an FFT analysis with white noise, I was amazed at how close they were. It's insanely close. I did a sum of the differences (using a match EQ) and now I have a quasi-matched 87ai or 87i.

This microphone (DA 87i) is so clean sounding with a low noise floor, and the highs are crystal clear and smooth. I was so shocked when I tested it out for the first time, I thought I would have to save up for a $8,000+ microphone to achieve this level of audio quality. It takes eq and saturation like a champ, it sounds amazing. I can't wait for their next mic!!

Excellent product. The mic is everything that was described. The only thing that is at all negative is how long the delivery took. Other than that, I am a very happy camper.

All the information I found on the website, including video, was superb. The ordering process was as I expected. And everything was delivered quickly with attention to well packaging my new microphone. On my first plug in, everything worked beautifully. Took me a second to figure out setting up the shock guard, but managed just fine. The wooden box it came in is very nice as well. As for the mic itself, loving it so far. First, I have their 87 and the 47 is another absolutely fantastic mic in its own right (whether comparing to the classics or not). Second - something went wrong with the shipping but Josh got on it right away and the mic came just in time for a song I was completing. Great mics, great service, great value for the money.

Finally got the microphone. Originally sent by USPS which does not deliver to my house. I contacted your office and it was resent by UPS and I received the package a week later. Microphone appears to be of very good quality. Everything as advertised. Thank you. I’m
