The Maude tall dresser came cracked and broken in multiple places. I reached out to customer service but did not hear back from them. Such a bummer as I did like the style of the dresser and wanted a couple of the pieces.

The furniture is good quality - the pictures were accurate and I really do like the piece I purchased. HOWEVER it showed up with one piece severely damaged (I could not build past step 12) and I am on Day 9 of dealing with the most incompetent customer service I have ever dealt with in my life. I am 90% sure it is all AI and I have sent MULTIPLE photos of the damaged piece, the packaging, the batch number, the shipping label, etc. just stating "hey ship me this piece please" and I still have no answer. We have gone back and forth 6 times and they just keep saying "we are currently seeking guidance with the relevant team". I am fed up and feel like a Karen even leaving this review but for $1000 I expect them to remedy this issue by replying to my original e-mail with "okay no problem - piece is on the way!".

They don’t allow all honest reviews in their website. I thought their products were good when I saw only 4&5 star reviews but after I left them a one star review, I noticed it never posted. My products arrived scratched and damaged. They gave me a partial refund but still don’t think I would have bought the tables for that price if I knew what I was getting.

Beautiful products, but our one dining room chair arrived without screws (and we paid for next day delivery). It took them a week to send replacement screws, but we are still 3 short so can’t assemble the chair

The building of the product was the most complicated flat pack experience of my life. Not because I am incapable of building, but due to the very basic instructions which lack specification of simple things, making it harder and lots of guesswork. The cabinet is slightly misaligned too with no reason for it to be (the draws dont fully close unless the cupboard door is open). It looks nice overall, but definitely not worth the cost. Wouldn't buy from Daals again.

This company is churning out well-designed but poorly made furniture with hardboard and chip board and 'plastic' veneers being the mainstay of a number of pieces I bought, a number with manufacturing faults. Chips and Splits. There are a very high number of positive reviews for most items on the DAALs own site. Which is at odds with Trust Pilot. Draw your own conclusions. On the plus side I made a number of orders and they all arrived on time. I like the look of them...they were okay to build...but don't expect them to last heavy wear and don't expect them to feel like high quality items.

I ordered a dining table on the 9th February. Since then I have yet to receive the item. Albeit the item would be delivered BY the 22nd February not on the 22nd. Since my order I have not had one email on the progress of the item. I have had to email to request an update such as has it been disptached? Is it with the Courier? 2 stars is because I do get a reply from Customer services but it is always the same reply. 'The courier will be intouch with you when they are ready to deliver the item' I am currently in hospital after an operation and need to arrange someone to be at my home to collect the item and this can't be done last minute as I live far out away from family and friends. I've explained this to customer services but no progress or help has been given to try HELP give a definitive delivery date. Sitting waiting for nearky 2 weeks eveyday for something to be delievred in teh complete darkness is poor service. I wouldn't recommend this company personally, the lack of updates has put me off buying here again.

Purposefully misleading returns policy. The is a notice across the top of the site that says 30 day returns. But that only applies to a very small percentage of purchases those that are damaged or wrong order received. It is I think false advertising as they appear to offer you the flexibility of 30 days for an online purchase but in fact if like me to don't decide on a return immediately, you find that you only actually had 14 days and it's gone past the window to return the item. I don't trust this company now.
