Worked for my skin, but their containers are extremely wasteful. They are not flexible with shipping- you cannot customize the products you need and get them when you need them. I went to my dermatologist and asked for products containing the same ingredients they offer in their treatment and got them for a fraction of the price.

My experience getting set up was good. The formula was a bit harsh and didn’t seem to help much but the cleanser and moisturizer duo were amazing and did a lot of good on their own. Big problem though - I always ran out of product before the month was out. They have no way of buying extra cleanser or moisturizer and they don’t have an option of only getting those products without another bottle the harsh formula even though I could only handle it every 2nd-3rd day. Additionally, after the first few weeks my skin started a downturn to worse and I found I had to add in a gentle exfoliant despite the system nixing them. I don’t think the system is made at all for people with dry sensitive skin the system had so many limitations to buying the amounts of products needed so it didn’t feel “custom” to me at all.

I just want to make a statement about the 30-day free trial. I was anticipating that I'd have a full month to try out Curology, but ran out of the trial product after only two weeks. In their ad videos, their "models" seem to use a bit more product than necessary, so I took great care to not use too much at a time. All of that to say, though the product is good and seems to be effective so far, I am disappointed in the trial. My first paid shipment is on its way, and I'm worried I will again run out of product before the next 60-days are actually up. If that happens, I will likely just cancel my subscription. UPDATE: I went ahead and canceled my subscription. I really can't justify paying so much money for so little product. Using one pump per night is not enough to cover all of the problem areas on my face. For $60 every two months, I shouldn't have to be anxious about running out of product vs. not being able to treat my entire face. I also want to point out a frustration: if Curology can "listen to the complaints of their customers" and decrease the amount of product in each bottle, why can't they again listen to our complaints and increase the amount? Find a happy medium between their previous containers and the current ones? Instead, all I see are excuses in their responses to reviews. Very silly. Hopefully they'll circle back to this issue sooner rather than later. Fun while it lasted. On to the next!

I give two instead of one because the prescription *kind of* works, but you have to know what to ask for since the dermatologists (sometimes not even dermatologists) just can't know your skin personally. I'm mostly just super pissed about the bottle size. The p*nis sized container (the "large") contains about a pinkie finger worth of product. It lasts two weeks for forty dollars. I used one squirt per day on my skin, which *barely* covers my face on a good night, and still have to order a month early. Im using this last shipment and if that doesn't cut it (as in completely rid me of my acne because it's been about two months) then I'm glad my new job provides such good insurance because I'm gonna go see a real derm. Curology, please make your large size bottle worth it. I don't buy for a second that people complained about too much product. Where? Where did they complain? Why would the solution be to make them smaller but keep the 40 dollar price tag? If it really is true then let some ppl have a little extra at the end, they can postpone shipments if they really feel that way. Give the rest of us what we're supposedly paying for. How many bottles do you think you'd sell if you made the entire bottle the size of the actual amount of product instead of wasting all that plastic?

Curology worked great for me for 6 months. Then I get an email saying that they routinely test formulas and found mine to “not be effective over time” and changed my formula. My new formula caused major irritation on my face, and I messaged my provider, and she changed my formula again. The problem here is that I had to pay another $60 to get the new formula. I discontinued use in the meantime, waited a month, got the new formula, and it was even worse on my face. It caused my face to break out in periorifical dermatitis. It is burning, itching, and the best part - it can take months to clear up. From using curology, I am left with a multi-month rash on my face and $100s in dermatology bills. Not worth it if you ask me.

It’s a scam. A whole scam. I got this to help with my stubborn acne on my nose and chin. Instead, after two months of having it, I have seen no changes AND now I have chin, cheek, and forehead acne. I was very blessed to never have a lot of acne growing up, but Curology has ruined that for me. It has made me go from never wearing foundation to always needing it on to feel the slightest bit confident. The patches worked okay, they worked more than the prescription but I would have to wear them for at least 24 hours to get any results. My provider has been nice, even though my not-so-positive messages to her. Like I said, purging can last for a long time (8-12 weeks at most? If I remember correctly?) but I am way over that time. So disappointed.

I’ve been using this product for over 3 months (roughly) and it did a fairly decent job with my skin. That is something I don’t have a problem with. It’s the customer service and issues with billing/payment. My last curology package I had decided to also purchase the acne body wash. I was not pleased with the body wash at all and made sure to go back and take it off of my package details WELL before the next package was even considered to be shipped again. Shortly after, I started to lessen my desire to continue with curology and thought I had canceled my Subscription, especially after COVID got worse because money has become extremely tight. Well, ultimately, I ended up getting billed $58 last night. I take responsibility for assuming I had unsubscribed in time BUT I know for an absolute fact that I removed the acne body wash and am now stuck with additional charges. I have been trying to contact support for over 24 hours now and while waiting have recently received a message stating that the shipment was officially shipped. Based on the websites return policy I am no longer in a position to return it (which, to an extent, I understand) but contacted them well before they shipped it (actually as soon as I got charged I tried contacting) and had not received any responses as of yet. It doesn’t help that there is no number to call so I’m being put in a position where I must wait and may have to deal with charges for a service I no longer wanted nor needed. This experience alone makes me not want to ever purchase from them again but I cannot disregard that the product itself is worth trying if you really need something for your skin. That, alone, is what makes this so frustrating. The fact the product does work but the customer service is far below that. I hope that they can fix that in the future, very disappointed.

The product isn't that bad. However, the communication and customer service are awful. Usually they are supposed to send you an email alerting you that your bottle is going to ship out in a few days. On three occasions now, I have received no such email and been charged the $40 out of nowhere. Two of those times I have not been in the best place financially, so having $40 taken out of my account out of nowhere was not helpful. They refuse to do refunds and won't acknowledge that it was something on their side that messed up.
