Sadly repeating what someone else wrote - thieves! I set up my trial on Aug 31st. I received the first bottle on Sept 7th, but it was a super weak strength which I was surprised about. I contacted them, and I was told "I will have a new trial bottle sent out shortly, free of charge. This will reset your shipment schedule, so your next shipment date will be 2 months from now." There is no ambiguity about this - my next shipment date was stated by them to be Nov 7th! Well, they sent something out on Oct 7th, and charged me $90 for it! They have basically gaslighted me in the meantime, even though I have the above quote in writing on Sept 7th. I will be doing a credit card charge back if they refuse to give my money back for this, because obviously that is totally deceptive - I would have canceled immediately had they not stated nothing would ship for another 2 months!

Actually the worst acne "treatment" ive ever used. Ive never had really bad acne, I get a few small pimples a week and after years of practice I have a routine down that usually clears it up before new acne pops up and I can rest easy with somewhat clear skin. I wanted to try curology to prevent the new pimples from coming in and hopefully prevent any scarring. Boy was I wrong! Curology prescribed me a topical cream with clindomyacin 1% which is basically a very weak topical antibac. After just one use I was not happy, my skin was on fire and red as if I had a chemical burn. My second mistake was adhering to the advice that it was something my skin needed to adjust to. After a week of use my acne is 10x worse, my skin is red and irritated and the tiny pimples that I could easily clear up before now scar. Now a week after stopping the "treatment" I see that all the red areas the cream caused have become permanent dark spots on my skin. I will never use their products again and highly reccomend that anyone else looking into make an appointment with an actual dermatologist because Curology just isn't worth it. They charge you an arm and a leg for the same things your doctor will prescribed you and your doctor will probably prescribed something that will actually help.

I sent an email to this company about a trial cancellation I made which I noticed I didn’t receive a refund for. They have never responded or gave me my money back.

Beware you will get charged without even an emails notice. I put off order for money purposes and next thing you know I saw a charge on my card. I was upset because I didn’t get a warning, like I do with other subscriptions, that my order is about to be charged and shipped. I couldn’t afford it at this time and They did nothing for me. I had to cancel so it couldn’t happen again. I also understand formulas are pre mixed but with a subscription forward society it would be nice to get notifications of upcoming shipments to avoid upset and dissatisfied customers.

Please read if you are considering subscribing to this company, it is NOT worth it. I have used Curology for around 2 years, and just recently decided that my skin was clear enough to stop using their products. While the products seemed to help my acne, I have had several issues with their website (and customer service). For the longest time I was notified BEFORE my account was charged, which gave me the freedom to put my shipment off if I wasn't out of the product (which I use very sparingly). Several months ago, however, my notifications randomly stopped sending, which resulted in me being charged when I did not need any more of my formula. I emailed Curology about this on two separate occasions, and they gave me a refund but informed me that I should turn on pre-shipment notifications (which I never turned off). I turned them on manually after the first incident, but they didn't start sending again. After the second incident I decided it wasn't worth the trouble and cancelled my subscription through their website. I stopped receiving emails after this and assumed all was well. That was until this month, when I randomly got an email saying that my Curology box had arrived ?? I didn't receive an email in advance, didn't receive an email even when it shipped, only after it had arrived. I emailed customer service about this, went back and forth several times, and they refuse to refund me because there is no record of a cancellation request. They cancelled my subscription themselves, but put the blame on me for not reaching out to them. I cannot afford to randomly be charged $50 for a product that I don't need, ESPECIALLY after I unsubscribed. I know I am not the only one with this experience as I have read through several other reviews on their website. This product is nwhere near worth the hassle and money loss. Do not subscribe to this company.

awful customer service

Absolutely hated it. I used it for 2 months straight with no extra product, as instructed. It didn’t break me out however after using this my skin was so dull, rough, dry, lifeless, and would not stop peeling throughout the day - and these were the things I included in my quiz that I was aiming to mend. I canceled my subscription and they outed me another $68 worth of product I won’t be using. If you’re willing to change up your customization and wait for results then that may be a good option for you. But not worth the money in my opinion. Not sure why I decided to try switching from bioclarity to curology after 5 years, but I’ll definitely be switching back to my old skincare routine.

I started using Curology a few months ago and gave it a try since I saw multiple great reviews on it— It affected my skin so badly it gave me noticeable acne scars so I ended up contacting their customer support to cancel my subscription and they still shipped out my next shipment and charged me for it. So I asked for a refund since I’m not going to use it and damage my skin even worse and they weren’t willing to return or refund my shipment. So now I’m out 93$ for product that damaged my skin. I’m not one to write reviews but this is just messed up, if any one is looking into buying this just know that the customer service is poor and they rip people off.
