I have ordered many times over the years and I have always been very pleased. The quality of the sateen sheets has been excellent. I recently ordered some printed sateen sheet. The first I ordered were good quality fabric(as always) and very pretty. The last two orders not at all. The second sheets I ordered had thinner fabric, seemed cheap. They were on sale, but NOT cheap. I thought maybe just these sheets. I disregarded and ordered some more the beginning of September. They arrived a week or so ago. I put them on my bed two days ago. AGAIN, poor quality fabric. I order sheets as gifts for relatives and my daughter as gifts all the time. The only company I order from consistently. Well, not anymore. Maybe just these printed sheets, I do not know. I am very surprised and disappointed. They have changed thread thickness, quality or something. If I happen to order again, I will return the sheets, and get a refund. BUYER BEWARE!!

Placed an online order for which I did not receive an invoice. They then broke my order into two separate shipments two days apart and doubled my already high shipping costs. A call to customer service became rather tense as the agents only interest seemed to be to sell me a subscription plan and not to address my concerns. The agent then became agitated and used insulting language about my ability to absorb his sales pitch. I terminated the call without a resolution. I am rather surprised that Wirecutter recommends this company I will never shop there again.

I ordered a nightgown, a bed jacket and their luxury cashmere cotton bed socks on August 30th for my daughters birthday which was Sept. 6th. She is in the hospital with cancer and when i had not gotten a shipping notice nor did I see they any deduction from my acct. for payment I called them to check and explain that I needed her package delivered by 9/6. they said it would be there in 2 days.on the 4th, still no shipping or payment, I call again and explain and they said it was going out that day. which it did not, on the 6th it says it was shipped but all I see is that a label was created. the package only had to go from MA to CT. that is typically one day. I am beyond frustrated and will never order from them again. When you pay for quality goods how hard is to just send it?

While I have ordered many times from this company, their items are very good quality their customer service is very disappointing. I ordered a very sizable order around 8 pm next morning got text for 25% plus free shipping I called that morning to at least consider free shipping they would not give any consideration. I will not order again.

Cuddledown products are very expensive, and while the quality is generally good, the customer service experience has been extremely disappointing. The wait times are far too long—sometimes you spend a long time just trying to get through to an actual person. When you finally do reach someone, communication can be very difficult, which makes resolving an issue even more frustrating. For products at these prices, I expect much better customer service. Good-quality products don't make up for an experience that leaves customers feeling ignored and frustrated. Cuddledown really needs to improve its customer service and reduce the excessive wait times.

Cuddledown has quality items but their shipping costs and returns have removed them from me ever shopping with them again. I ordered 6 standard pillow shams and the shipping charge was $22.00 which is nothing but obnoxious! I didn't like the colors and returned them. Of my $193.00 total I was refunded $154.00! No explanation, no e mail from Cuddledown explaining where my additional $39 disappeared to. Even deducting the original $22 shipping fee I can only surmise they charged $17 to return the items. I will NEVER shop with them again and suggest you think twice before ordering unless you have money to throw away.

The company is not what it used to be 20 years ago. Maybe it is Chinese owned? Definitely some corporate stuff. I purchased a fitted king sheet online for a clearance price of @$100. It charged my pay pal account (like I agreed), although 8 didn't know how much it would charge the account in the end. I was then informed that the basic shipping and handling was @$20 and tax was @$12. Somehow the purchase came out to $140. Definitely higher than a $100 fitted sheet I was looking at. Had I known all this EARLIER. I would not have agreed to any charges. I would just not have ordered the orpduct. Since I ordered it today and then decided to read the reviews, I am worried. I hope I get this in a timely manner and the product isn't bad, but I would not order from this company again. Better just to go to IKEA in person. Or anywhere, in person. After my order was placed, I was offered to be a monthly member by accepting a $20 a month charge (!!!!! Lol), and after I declined, I was offered an even 'better deal'. It felt like a cheap tactic. Like something from Temu. If you're going after the more affluent customers who will pay $100 for a fitted sheet, don't play with your customers using those cheap tactics. I just hope I get the product and am not ever going to order from this place again. It felt like the cries of a desperate used car salesman. But wait...before you go....but wait, there's more.....but wait. You get the picture.

I ordered a mattress cover from Cuddledown for my king-sized mattress. I measured the mattress before ordering to be sure it matched the measurements in the catalog. When it arrived, it was two inches too big all around. I'm guessing that is because it was made in Germany and measured in metric units. However, I think the company needs to be accurate in what they are advertising. When I called customer service about returning, the person told me I would be charged $12.95 for the return. I told her I did not think I should pay that as this was not my fault. She continued to repeat the cost and say they would charge it. There was never an apology for inconvenience or mis-advertising by the company, etc. I became so fed up that I cancelled the other part of the order that was on backorder. Upon returning I put a note in there about the shipping charge. I gave them two stars instead of one because the quality of stuff is good and they did refund me all of the cost of the cover except for $ .52. Why they kept that I have no idea. I will not order from them again. They are expensive so they should provide better customer service.
