If I could give negative stars

If I could give negative stars, I absolutely would. My experience with CruiseBound has been extremely disappointing from start to finish. Customer service is incredibly difficult to reach. I spent over an hour on hold, only to be directed to request a callback by text. Even after doing that, it took hours for someone to return my call. More concerning was the information I received from CruiseBound regarding my transaction. I was told that they had contacted the cruise line directly by phone and were informed that the transaction I requested could not be completed. However, when I contacted the cruise line myself, I was told something entirely different. The cruise line specifically told me that CruiseBound needed to call them directly and that the request could be handled. I even provided CruiseBound with the direct extension for the cruise line representatives I had spoken with, yet the issue was still not properly addressed. Based on my experience, I have lost confidence in CruiseBound and will not use their service again. I cruise at least once a year, and going forward I will book and handle my reservations directly with the cruise line. I would strongly recommend that others consider doing the same. The convenience of using a third-party booking service is not worth it when getting assistance becomes this difficult.

On your payment request, our team did contact the cruise line directly on your behalf and was told the change could not be processed because the booking was paid in full and past final payment. We understand you were given a different answer when you called them yourself, so our offer to set up a joint call with the cruise line still stands.
