I took out an advance and did not remember that my debit card was reported loss. Therefore, the advance was never deposited into my account. I then attempted to link a debit card to a secondary account. It won’t let me as it was not linked to the account on my credit genie. Okay cool. I’ll just have to wait until my new debit card comes in. Fast forward a couple of days and the card that would not let me link was charged a $4.99 membership fee. How can you charge a card that you wouldn’t even let me link because it’s not with the bank on file. I immediately emailed them and they responded I have an open loan. Yes the loan that I never received was showing as an open loan despite me never receiving the money. Then today I notice I’m missing money out of my secondary account that has never been linked to credit genie because remember it’s with another bank. Credit genie charged me for the loan I never received from an account they don’t even have access to. FRAUD! FRAUD! FRAUD! I have all my bank statements to prove everything and plan on pursuing legal action since they can’t respond to emails.

I agree with everyone else that they are a scam! DO NOT USE THEM! Now they are claiming I made another account! I absolutely did not do that. Besides how could that possibly be done with my information on my account I’ve used all along. Then on trust pilot my review they told me to contact them and they’d do what they could and also look into it. They still lie. I’ve only used one email the entire time and did well paying back. They are scammers trying to get your information. I had someone from there say a different reason they took my account off and won’t let me use it ever again. They lied. They could have let me know before taking my $4.99 and my payment. They took my payment and right away permanently suspended my account. 😡🤬

This app is convenient, sure, but it will also continue to charge you the $4.99 subscription fee...even after you remove the subscription from your account. And customer service is useless. Instead of fixing the issue and acknowledging that they're shady, they instead chose to argue with me about how my account is still active and instead of giving me my money back, they'll just deactivate my account for me. I know its tempting, but don't use this app!

The application will fund you up to $100.00, but there is a catch. Even if you pay on time, the app will reflect a late payment. Which will result in you receiving a double charge on your bank account. Customer support responds when they feel like it. In my opinion just budget your money and do not use this application. Seek your local bank for a loan.

Absolutely 100% scam. Do not be taken in by their promises . They play the long con, not too pushy, very polite, But your money or your asset is not safe with this company they never kept promises I refused to let them go away with my money filed a complaint and got everything back within few days

They keep taking 24.99 out of my bank and I have never had any funds from them. I can’t close my account either or stop the payments.

This credit genie keeps charging my bank account and won’t let me delete my account. They have received my full payment and 5 days have passed by. They said my bank must be holding the funds and process could take longer. I called my bank and payment had been fully paid. But they will not allow me to delete my account and all they have available is a genie chat to speak with you. There is no way you can talk to any live person. It is very frustrating because every week they are taking money out of my account. And their excuse is they haven’t processed the payment. They don’t allow you to pay off your account and when it’s completely taken out of your account the payment takes more than 5 days to process and in the meantime they are charging your account. You can’t even unsubscribe the account. You don’t have access to your account. They hold your information hostage as well. Be careful getting money from this account because when you want to get out of it it will be very hard. And the chat just keeps repeating itself on how the process is 3-5 days but it will tell you later that it can take longer. Be careful

I have been trying to get a hold of credit genie because they keep charging me a fee even though I disabled my account. It's ridiculous. I can't even log in to the app to to remove my bank account because it says that I don't have access to log in because my account has been disabled.
